I'll be there.

Hope we can get a decent turnout and show that EU isn't a joke

If you like the game, then x1000 yes. I had the worst tourney performances since ever at this Sega Cup but I learned sooooooo much, through casuals, talking with other people, and just watching other matches. You'll ,come away.with a lot in a lot of.aspects. Hanging out was just awesome as well!

 

There's more to tourneys nowadays, you get to meet people, learn more about the game 1st hand, win raffles etc etc.

More importantly you'll get to support your scene and game, and this will get the developers and publishers to see the community cares about their game and is incentive to more events like this

There is about 99 % chance my ass will be there to get kicked

 

I want SO MUCH to come to this, chances are 80% of myself not going, but I will try to make it.

Not sure if I will be there, considering august is kinda my vacation time.

What?!? BEST.VF.Week. EVER. Two days after the amazing SEGA Cup (US Edition) we get the official announcement of SEGA Cup for Europe! If I find the money - and most importantly - time, I will participate in SEGA Cup.

 

Pff, been waiting for this announcement since Cannes! And here it finally is! So awesome.

I hope all the European players can make it. This should be bigger than Cannes, we can do it! I also hope some US players make it out here (GT!), it's only like a 5 hour flight or something from the East Coast.

Who are you trying to kid? Like hell you won't be there! You better plan your vacation to London this year pops!

It was like Cannes, I almost couldn't go, but luckily I found a way out.

But most important, it's not the tournament: I hope there will be some VF gathering / sessions before and after the tourney, set up by our fellow UK players

 

Yeah we're going to try and sort something out.

I was thinking casuals definitely for Friday the 2nd and possibly Sunday the 4th too, it'll be in the hands of the Londoners ultimately but we'll get something done.

 

Hey if you guys need help sorting out pre-Sega Cup Europe and post casuals, let me know and I'll see if I can work some magic
