You'll have to read the moves to reverse correctly. Mid punch is 4+G and Mid Kick is 6+G, else to that High Punch/Kick is 7+G and Low Punch/Kick...
Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it. It's VF with pretty visuals and different mechanics.
