OK, first of all don't ALL of you show up. But I am throwing a party at my pad on the 28th to celebrate the VF4E +SC2 +GGX2 experience... oh yeah, it's a good month to be a fighta. Any SoCal fighting game fans with nothing better to do than enjoy 3 rooms + balcony = 4 big screens hosting the greatest fighting games of the century + tikki torches + B_lee/J_chan/J_lei flicks playing constantly in every room + oh yes, I'm not shitting you Karate Champ!!!! And VF1, if I can find a decent emulator. Also, if it turns out like any of my parties there will be actual drunk streetfighting in the parking lot beneath my balcony... Bring the Pain.... Leave the Fear...see you on the Field.

Interested? email omysillygirl@hotmail.com for directions to the fighting game partay of the centuray!

You're going to have Karate Champ? Too good! That's the game that got me started on fighting games. I used to play it at local pizza parlor all the time. They need to bring back two joystick control for fighting games, LOL.

P.S. I own the charging bull.

LOL ... that's not even in Los Angeles.
T.O. is in Ventura County. I've got some relatives up there.

Yeah, Karate Champ... I've also got my ear out for any other great kooky ideas... ESPECIALLY, I want to get some VF1 on... any thoughts on how I can accomplish this, or any other ideas on olskool fighting greatness that I should consider trying to host somehow?

Damn you live way out in BFE( almost as far as Plague but the opposite direction ) /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif . I'll think about going. My questions are. How many people are expecting to show up... and since I could care less about the other fighting games. How many actual EVO players are going to show up. Thats all for now... I'll communicate with the Socal Evo group now. Brian with an "I"

Yes it's on... been moved to 3/29, though. Also moved to my friends' house which is more plush and has more TV's (including a 53" HD, although I think that's being reserved for SC2's 720 dots of goodness per inch). Expect VF4E to be running on some sizeable screens, though.

I feel wierd about posting directions to their place publicly; please call me at (805) 496 5611 (eve) or (818) 597 4411 (day). Bring any homies ya gots.

Anyone else interested, please do the same!!!!

To your questions: anticipating between 15 & 30 people? eh? Everyone from my at-work VF4 club (about 10 strong) will be there, but most of them are not yet well-versed in EVO. (Hell, I haven't even touched 2 of my 3 characters in the damned thing myself).

    See you on the field.

Jet Li is b33t, its all Jacky baby...wish I could make it..rumbling in the afterhours sounds like fun.

Jacky is funny and talented, but he has never done anything even remotely close to the caliber of "Fist of Legend" with Jet Li.

Blah...all of Jet Li fights are almost the same thing, over and over...Jacky's fights are creative...just watch snake and crane, half a loaf of kung fu, drunken master, etc...all of those I'd take over Jet's films any day.

    Creativity VS Technique
    I choose Technique.
    Too each his own.
