Anyone up for VF in the southern US?

There's a strong community of VFers in the south, particularly the Southeast US. DRE is in Panama City, FL, which is relatively close to where you are. Orlando is the hotspot for VF competition with Team Hydra (IMF, Blonde_one, Jedi_fei) and others. I'm in Jacksonville, FL. And there's at least one VFer in Louisiana, if I'm not mistaken. There's also a community in Atlanta, and there are other VFers as far as North Carolina. It all depends on how far you're willing to travel (if you're even willing to travel in the first place /versus/images/icons/wink.gif).

Check out the Hydra thread and, if you can find it, the Atlanta thread for gathering talk. It's nice to see a new interest, especially in the south.

 

There are a couple of us vfers in East Tennessee, I've tried to get together with the Atlanta people, but we haven't been able to get together for any type of event. Seems like people in the south except the FL crew don't come to the boards often enough to see other players. So like GD said, it's how far you are wlling to travel. /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

 

I'm right up the road...PM me for some digits if you're going to be in Baton Rouge and we'll see if we can't get together...I've got a few roommates who play daily plus a few other friends who are getting seriously into the game. BTW there's an evo machine at the mall of louisiana which AmericanPai (who roams these boards) came down to play a few weeks ago...I missed him though...anyway...YES, we play.
