do the winners of tournements get money???

yeh i was jus wonderin if there was a prize or prize money

 

depends on the tournament.
VF tournaments aren't gonna net you much, except in japan where you might win a PS2 or something.

 

Like Creed said, depends on who is running the tournament. But most tourneys are for money, starting with an entry fee and pay as you play. Then the pot goes to the top 3 players w/ 1st taking the highest percentage.

University Pinball held a VF4 tourney in March. Small turnout. I think it was less than 16. Top 3 rankings:

Omaha Jeff- Omaha/NY
Shang- Boston
Namflow- NJ/Rochester

 

You get arcade-use VF.net cards in the smaller tournaments.

 

Shota won something in the neighborhood of $250 at the E6 tournament.
