Anybody get an invite to play on the beta for this?

Becoming somewhat addicted again...

 

got one, but doesn't click with me like lol does.
Amazing style/character designs though!

 

do you need frozen throne to play this still or is it a seperate download?

 

Dota 2 = Valve... The new version.

 

LoL is very similar but Dota 2 is more hardcore. I am used to LoL as well though. Just annoying getting used to all the characters again.

 

Exactly, didnt know how much the cast had grown on me until i tried dota. In the end i decided not to continue, im at a certain lvl with lol and it doesnt interest me to put the time into dota to get to the same point when that time could be used to lvl up lol.

Tried juggling fighting games for few years too and it kept my level down because i was constantly relearning and adapting to systems.

Nothing bad vs dota2. It really looks like a great game and valve has the best community & support that this game cant go wrong.

 

im willing to give these type of games a try, might as well start with the best....that said...anyone got a spare key?

 

Dota's way too hardcore for me. I prefer LoL. Dota's got more interesting abilities, but it gets so much more dependent on team comp and matchups that you can't just play who you want sometimes.

 

Sal I don't. You can sign up for the beta through steam though. If you just got to the Dota 2 page, it will ask you to sign up. Takes like 30 seconds.

Do it again! I did it twice in a row all of a sudden I got an e-mail.

 

A month back I lost my only irl fighting buddy to this game. Now all of my gaming friends play this game and always talk about it. I really tried with the first game but never understood what the fuzz was about. From what I understand though the game is very addicting.
