Note: The second movie plays from the middle of the battle. The first part is missing.

These movies are from the most recent VFR Tokyo 3on3 Point Ranking Battle this past Sunday (25th). I believe VFR will have the direct feed version up soon.

For those of you who can understand Japanese, you will actually hear these players explain and comment on the matches a bit if you listen. Kind of interesting.

If anyone wants to know what elite VF is like. WATCH THESE CLIPS. Wow. Awesome play.

Wait a second: July 25??? No wonder I didn't see any of these guys at Nishispo...

heh. it would have been nice to see some elite camerawork along with the elite VF.

Janet: "is he playing and filming at the same time?"
    GE: "no"
    Janet: "then what's his problem?"

Haha, yeah, I was getting a headache watching the clips, but the quality of play was worth it.

Great to see Inochi in FT but did you how Magnum dominate him by playing machi and Inochi playing aggressive?

Haha, you know machi Jeffry is not my style. My FT icon for Jeffry is Fists AND Shield, meaning my play is balanced between offense and defense.

I like the Shun vs. Inotchi match--I think it was the last round for the Shun player, both characters within one big hit of getting KOed. Shun low punched MC, probably going for a throw, only to get reverse nitaku double palm. Impressive reflexes and yomi at such a critical moment!

This Lion player is so good! Is the kneekick a new Lion's kick or is it one of the oldest VF version?
Many original combo in this vid, i like it! Thx DRE for uploading!

(sorry if I do some mistakes in English)

i heard its the old knee

did anyone see i think lion vs magnuum jeffry around the 8:45 marker

lion does [4][6][P]+[K],[P][P] and before the 3rd animation comes out -
magnuum does [3][3][P] to make that elbow whiff?

did that look strange to anyone else?

damn that lion was good, but a few things.

the jeffrey's seem too conditioned to not do splash mountain. i think that's why the lion kept countering the [2][P]+[G] throw.

also, the lion was a little abare at times. like the first round against the akira, he got hit by: [P] counterhit, [2][P] counter hit, and then double palm counter.
