    [1],[2],[1],[4],[6] + [P]

This is observed from matches recorded in VF4 Evo with slow motion activated during the move being executed in combos like

    [2_],[6] -> Double Palm

In order to do the above combo you must complete the modified double palm motion within 19-21 frames after [2_],[6] hit.

Some one plz try and see if this is accurate...

are you talking about D,f+P after a stumbling trip?
I don't get what you mean by D,F --> double palm.

Anyway, if you're asking if this is the way to do a modified double palm... yes, it's one way. There are other ways:
[3][3] [4][6][P] (clean forward crouch dash into b,f+P)
[2][3][2][3] [4][6][P] (rolled forward crouch dash into b,f+P)

and doing a reverse crouch dash is fine too -
[1][1] [4][6][P] (clean back crouch dash into b,f+P)
and finally the method you showed is [1][2][1] [4][6][P] (rolled back crouch dash into b,f+P)

PS: This trick, using a crouch dash to get into a crouch instantly so you can do moves like the double palm.. is called "modifying" an attack.
Another name for an instant double palm is "modified" double palm.
    It's been around since VF1.

Yes it should be D,f+P -> double palm

I was trying to do this combo for years but still can't get it out. Then i observed the match videos from Evo and found that all the Japanese Akira players in there use that method to perform the combo. So i suspect it's the correct way to do it consistently...

What CreeD's saying is right...the method you describe is *one* way to do an m-DbPm, but there are other ways. People have been m-DbPming since VF2 - it's not new. There's no real correct way to do an m-DbPm either...so, I think it's great that you figured out how to get it in combos, but in this case the Japanese Expert isn't doing anything special.

    cheers,

Mucho thanks to EDK and CreeD for alternate ways of doing an m-DbPm. I was having trouble getting
[3],[3],[4],[6]+[P] to work on my Dual Shock, and this should make things easier. Wish I had an Arcade Stick...

P.S. MY FIRST POST ON VFDC! YAY FOR ME!
