ice-9 is going to be in UK from 28th September.
We have got a little VF4 reuion on Sunday 29th at Casino.

It was all very advanced VF4 technique.

 

Err, where are they? The VF4 section shows a bunch of gameplay results with a recent date, but nobody listed there is named jeff or ice-9..?

Hopefully he will still be around for the console challenges in about a week.

 

To be fair Derreck wouldn't know an advanced technique if it bit him in his butt.

He was doing some super advanced stuff like performing Lions Sabaki, and than back-dashing when it connected. Yeah that's pressuring your oppoenet and taking maximum damage...

still gotta love him though /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

 

Well, I've never seen anyone decent performing Lion's sabaki and then backdashing... maybe it IS an advanced technique after all. Any followups? ^_^

my wolf did me no favours that day.. mainly coz he's so damn screwed in ver.B it's not even funny! never have i ever relied on lion so much in all my VF life!, but hey, i did'nt even stay that long to warm up... /versus/images/icons/cool.gif

it was great watch some good competition peform that day, i especially enjoyed watching ice-9 perform with shun, it's really stylish... ryan's akira was so so.. just the usual extreme rinse of with the every day SPoD & DLC opportunities.. i saw no counters/inashis or flashy combos as such, but at leased he got the job done.. and his jacky? i knew it was all over when he picked that stupid prick.

it was all fun, i wish i did'nt have to go early, but i ran out of money, LOL and also, i had things to do... i hope lots of people will attend the burger king PS2 version (you too ice!)

EDIT: derrick - will the upcomming burger king tourney also be on saturday? it's the only way i will be able to attend otherwise.
