Ideas for future REVO DLC

Probably not gonna happen, at least to a major extent, but one idea I had was Dead or Alive crossover costumes. We already have the Tekken 7 crossover costumes, so why not include the other major 3D hand to hand fighting game? It'd also be a cool way to pay back VF characters being guests in DOA5, and it'd be hype.

As for which character would get which costume, I don't have the full list yet, but some ideas I had in mind were:

- Pai = Kasumi or Lei Fang

- Lau = Gen Fu

- Jacky = Jann Lee

- Sarah = Helena Douglas or Christie

- Kage = Ryu Hayabusa (obviously)

- Wolf = Tina Armstrong (bra optional)

- Jeffry = Bass Armstrong

- Taka-Arashi = Honoka

- Brad = Brad Wong or Diego

- Eileen = Marie Rose

Work in progress. Not as familiar with DOA as VF or Tekken, but feel free to suggest your own ideas for this list or other potential DLC costumes in general.

Until all the Final Showdown dlc items are available, the game is unfinished.

 

Adding all the FS DLC, a way to save replays and view replays, and make it easier to have multiple matches in a lobby without using the league feature or whatever.

 

Instead of taking out moves, they should be restoring more moves.

- Add a damn Jukebox!!!
- VF5 vanilla and R stages added.
- Bring back Quest mode!
- VF2-5R UI.
- Siba and or Dural dlc characters.

I'd say the copious among of left over Final Showdown content is our only reliable hope for any consistent Revo DLC.

With VF6 on the horizon, I just don't see Sega taking the time/resources to commission new designs.

The console accessories they added for the Revo pre-order bonus, for example; those were directly from FS and any expenses incurred bringing them over to this version would have to have been marginal at best.

Got my fingers crossed for the Type E/S costumes and all other missing accessories first.

 

I don't understand why Lion's throw from stance was removed, but Vanessa and Shun Di keep it. Maybe the pros can explain? Lion suffered the most from the removal of beautiful moves, I think. We can make a poll, an idea for the admins)

My favorite stage ever is Lei-Fei from vanilla vf5. Mountain peaks, pagodas, fog, remember? And Pai's stage is also my favorite version with butterflies from vanilla. It's strange that AM2 removes, and does not add, arena variants... We should ask the Japanese why this is so.

 

I would really like to make the display of Legendary costumes optional. Japanese fans can admire it to their heart's content, but I don't want to see THIS in full HD on my screen.
