    Lei-Fei Tactical Guide

Let's remember which stance to go after the technique.

This character has 7 different stances, the most of all characters, and uses these to attack. However, it may be difficult to even operate it at first, as it will automatically take a stance just by using a technique.

I'd like to remember which technique to use and how to prepare, but I'm not that knowledgeable either, so if you start from here and prepare like this, you'll be strong! I'd like to introduce you to that.

If you're a Lei-Fei main character, please play it as you see fit. ask.

    Let's start with P6PP

    First, let's try P6PP.

After the technique, you will enter Hai Shiki stance, so after that, try using Hai PP, which is difficult to interrupt.

Since Hai PP sets up Dokuritsu Shiki stance after the technique, if you then hit Dokuritsu KP, it will be a combination that cannot be interrupted.
If you hit Dokuritsu KP, you will be set up again in Hai Shiki, so let's hit Hai PP again to create a loop.

Furthermore, if your opponent hits 2P after P6PP, your Hai P will lose, so in that case, it is better to set up Dokuritsu Shiki stance with 8P+K+G [after P6PP] which will counter the opponent's 2P.

Let's break down the opponent with a stance from 6P

Next, let's break down the opponent with a stance from 6P. 6P is a half-circular attack that occurs quickly and catches the opponent's evade towards Lei's back.

After this technique, press P+K+G to set up Kyo Shiki stance.

If 6P is guarded, Lei will be at a disadvantage, but if he enters Kyo Shiki from 6P, Lei will be in an advantageous situation [+4 on block].
From here on, Kyo K won't be interrupted, so let me show you this first.

If your opponent is hardening their guard, Kyo P+K is an attack that can break down your opponent's guard.
After breaking the opponent's guard here, you will have a +12f advantage, so let's start attacking again from P6PP.

If your opponent likes to evade, use Kyo K+G to crush your opponent's avoidance.
After K+G, you are set up in Hai Shiki stance, so after hitting with Kyo K+G, attack again from Hai PP.

In nitaku situations, try to set up two choices: 2_6P and throws.

After a 2P or P hits, or after guarding your opponent's favorite move, you have a chance to make two choices.
At this time, let's make a choice by throwing 2_6P [can input as 336P or 3236P from standing, or simply 6P from crouching] and 6P+G or 64P+G.

If you want to take damage, you want to aim for a combo from 41236P+G → 46P+G → 236P+G or 2_6P+G, but it's a little difficult, so if you can't do it, use 6P+G.

    Let's read more from 6K

Lei-Fei tends to have a hard time if the opponent evades to his stomach.

In such a case, you can use 6K, which is a full-circular high kick that occurs quickly.

After 6K, he enters Koko Shiki stance, and from this stance he can perform multiple defensive techniques.

Let's suppress the opponent's attack with these.

First, if 6K hits as a counter hit, Koko K will hit continuously.
After Koko K, you will be set up in the Nehan Shiki stance, so from there, choose between the Nehan P+K and Nehan 2K.

    Next, if 6K is guarded.
After that, by hitting Koko P, you can deal with the opponent's upper and middle attacks and perform a combo on successful sabaki.

Koko P is defenseless against your opponent's lower attacks, so use Koko K in that case.
This is a fast-generating mid attack that deals damage while dealing with the opponent's 2P and low attacks.

If your opponent doesn't like it and won't do anything, it's a good idea to set up Hai Shiki stance with 2P+K+G or 8P+K+G and attack from there.

Let's crush the opponent's throw with a fast-generating combo starting technique

Lei-Fei often goes through stances, and it takes a long time to take great damage! For those who want, 9K+G is recommended.
This technique has a fast onset and can start a combo even on normal hit, so the unit cost is high.

If it's blocked, it's -10F, but because it develops quickly, you can do something outrageous like 9K+G again against the opponent who tries to throw it.
Also, since it has a jump status, it will help you when you read the opponent's lower attack, but it doesn't mean you will definitely dodge it, so don't be too confident.

    Intermediate

Push your opponent to the wall with Hai Shiki

This character has a very strong attack against the wall. Therefore, he would like to carry his opponent to the wall, so in that case, Hai PP+K comes into play.

This technique blows the opponent away and increases Lei-Fei to +9 on block.
After this, try chasing your opponent with long reach 4K, 2_6P, 6K+G, etc.

Also, if the second shot of Hai PP+K hits a counter hit, you will have a huge advantage, and 1P+K etc. will hit continuously.
It's difficult to confirm the hit, so be careful when using it.

Let's judge the other person's actions using Nehan Shiki

If you are trying to attack from a stance and end up receiving a surprise blow from your opponent, try using 1P+K+G from the stance to switch to Nehan Shiki.

Nehan P+K is an excellent technique that allows you to attack while parrying mid and high attacks, and even if it is blocked, Lei-Fei has a +3 advantage.

From here, 6P+K will be a combination that cannot be interrupted, and from there, let's attack with Hai Shiki by pressing P+K+G [after 6P+K].

Also, if you do Nehan P+KP, even if it's guarded, Lei-Fei will be +4F, so you can attack with 6P or 6K.

    Recommended side attack

After evading your opponent's techniques, you have a chance to attack from the side.
First of all, I would like to say 4K, but here I recommend using 6PP+K+G and attacking from Kyo Shiki.

When 6P hits a side counter-hit, Kyo 6P is confirmed.
Also, if you use Kyo P+K [after 6P counter-hits on the side], it will break the guard on the side, giving you a huge advantage [+15] and allowing you to follow up with moves such as 9K or 9K+G.

If the opponent is crouching, 6PP+K+G will actually be a very advantageous situation if you get a crouch hit.
The problem is that it looks the same as the normal hit, so it's a little hard to confirm.

When [6PP+K+G] hits crouching, Kyo PPP cannot be blocked, so use this to connect to a Hai Shiki attack.
Also, just like with a counter hit, it is also effective to break the guard with Kyo P+K [after 6PP+K+G hits crouching].

If your opponent doesn't like it and crouches [under Kyo P+K], aim for the Kyo 6P.

If your opponent hates it and evades towards Lei's stomach, use a side attack from 6K.

If 6K becomes a side counter-hit, Koko 2KPP will hit continuously and reduce the number drastically.

    Advanced

    Let's intercept the opponent's move with 236P+K

If you are in a disadvantageous situation, you can use 8P+K+G atemi, but in such a case, try using 236P+K.
This allows you to handle high and mid punch attacks and combo on successful sabaki.

Especially when your opponent is against a wall, you can expect even more damage, so check the location and use it as a defensive option.

    Wall approach

On the wall is a Lei-Fei flower shape. You can expect great damage here, so aim for a one-shot reversal.

    ●Opponent's back against the wall

Here, first of all, aim for a wall stagger with the middle attack of 66P.
After causing a wall stagger, use 43P+K to stick it to the wall and then perform a wall combo.

If your opponent is holding standing guard, aim for a wall stagger from the low attack 1K+G.
From there, the basic idea is to aim for a wall combo with 43P+K.

Also, 6P[P+K+G] is also an option.
If 6PP+K+G hits on the counter, they will be wall staggered, and from there you can aim for a combo with Kyo P+K.

If they want to evade to Lei's stomach, aim for a 6K wall hit.
From there, use Koko K to hit them into the wall, and from there, use Hai PP+K to follow up. [after Koko K, input 2P+K+G > PP+K]
●Parallel to the wall, Lei's stomach facing the wall

With this foot position, the low attack 66P+K becomes a brutal technique.
Let's hit them into the wall here then side crumple them with 466P+K.
●Parallel to the wall, Lei's back facing the wall

When using this foot position, aim for a wall combo from 6K.
6K wall stagger → 2KPP to wallsplat them and start the combo.

Also, if you are in Dokuritsu Shiki and exit the stance by pressing G, the foot position will change, so it is interesting to aim for wall stagger with 66P+K here.

Let's suddenly make a choice from medium distance

Lei-Fei shows his true value in short-range attacks, so there isn't much to do at mid-range.
By charging P+K from Hai Shiki, you can perform a lunging technique with a long reach.
This will cause a stagger if guarded, giving Lei-Fei a huge advantage.
It's difficult to avoid if you're not used to it, so let's attack with this first.

By the way, when it hits, it is very heavy. Very much so.

Another attack method is to use a forward roll of 6P+K+G after setting up in Dokuritsu Shiki.
From here, you'll be able to use a P+G catch throw and a K mid combo starter, so let's make a choice here.
