Life after Brad? Who to play next.

So, I've been hooked on Brad since VF4 Evo, and while I branched a bit to try Sarah, Akira (failed), Lion, and Jeffry, I never really hit my stride. And when VF5 hit PS3 (I just purchased mine in August), I pretty much defaulted back to Brad.

Who should I play next? I'm really drawn to the solid stagger and "snapback" impacts Brad has. Also some of his *sigh* bounce combos. Who would you suggest with somewhat similar properties?

 

I was in the same situation as you, and I tried almost every character.... I liked Sarah... well... she kicks /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif But there are two characters (except for Akira) that I found as entertaining as Brad. Those are Wolf, for great throws (wha a surprise /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif ), and Lei Fei, for different options, and stances /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I can't bring myself to play Wolf. One of the two other flesh and blood opponents I play each year punished the daylights out of me with that bastard when he introduced me to VF. He is my nemesis. And now, years after VF4: Evo, I will rise from the ashes like a phoenix to crush him with my uber-bounce combo Brad or....
