Loading during a VS match from the same Card

My friend and I have our characters on the same card, but when we compete in VS, we have to switch the card to load. (If it's in the 1st slot, Player 1 can load just fine, but Player 2 automatically tries for slot #2)

Is there any way for us to load from one card, w/o having to move it around?
