Newbie needs some help plz

Hi to ya'll. i aint new to fighting games in genaral as i am quite good at 2D beat 'em ups and Soul calibur 2 and i am very good at all Tekken games but i have given them all up and converted to Virtua Fighter 4 Evo as it has more depth and requires more skill to master than most beat 'em ups.

i am trying to learn to play with Jacky Bryant.

can anynoe give me sum technique to playing Virtua Fighter in genaral and give me sum tips on playiing with Jacky? (including advantages and disadvantages)
