NYC On Saturday

Hey all - just wanted to say Alex and I had an awesome time playing all you guys. Let's see here - we saw Rodney, Nelson, Andy, and Shag again and met Shadowdean and Adam. I think I got to play everyone but Adam (when he was there I was busy waiting for ricky o to come kick my ass in some CVS2 tourney). I didn't get the name of the tall dude with the hat and the shoulder length hair I don't think. Was there anyone else there whose name I didn't get? It was fun and I can't wait until we get to visit NYC again. If we stay late we might be able to head over to CTF again this Monday (is anone else gonna be there?) Everyone there was really friendly and really cool to chill with and all. Mad props to all.

The versus cabinets are awesome and I got more used to the sticks, although I still couldn't crouch dash left to safe my life. Haha gotta make sure I'm on the left machine more often. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif The extra room really helps.

Anyways I'm mad tired since I've been up since midnight yesterday so I'll see ya all later, thanks again for the awesome time!

 

Hi Rich and Alex. I met you guys in the afternoon. It's good to finally meet the famous vf twins. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif Eventhough you guys are twins, you two use different characters in the game. If I remember correctly Alex uses Pai and Rich uses Jacky, right? What time did Rodney and the gang join in with you guys? Sorry I had to go early since I was way off in my game. I'll challege you guys more next time.

Hmm, we left to eat lunch around 4:00 and when we got back a lot of people were there. Its a shame you couldn't stick around, but I'm sure we'll get to play some more next time we're here.

 

Yeah finally got our ride situation straigtened out and headed up to NYC...

Everyone up there is very, very cool and also really good at the game... Can't ask for more! Oh yeah, the VS cabinent setup is off the charts... The screens look great, the controls are great (are they josticks different from before?), and you got all the room you want... And if you actually manage a winning streak then you can get kind of comfortable in the seats... very nice..

Shadowdean had no idea you were going to show up! good to see you, although had to jet before you got back... rich and i had been in there for around six hours at that point and the guy who we were staying with was getting kind of antsy... I don't know why, Rich and I were having lots of fun!

The "famous VF twins" is a reference to me posting our pic in the "Famous VF Players Pics" thread.... and me calling us the famous VF twins... /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

and yeah to confuse everyone I played as both Jacky and Pai equally... Rich only played Jacky once or twice though...
