OFFICIAL: I'm not going to Evo thread

Shidosha Finally arrives on the west coast, has the money saved up, and finds out he will be unable to attend Evo this year...
Why? cuz HE didn't pre-register NOR does he have a hotel or a mode of transportation /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif
A bit of me has died inside.
and with it being 3 days away i feel more and more pain of the evo hype.
So who else isn't going?

i figured i'd just sit back with my stolen wi-fi internet n kick it with the VF fam while my phone constantly rings with ppl moaning about BlazBlue and SFIV

 

You can still register for Evo but if you are not going to enter any tournaments I don't see why you should bother. I'm guessing anyone wanting to demo any of the new games won't really get to play them much.

I have a room at the Trop. We can arrange something.

Getting there is up to you.

 

rooming with a vfer would be nice. I wonder who's gonna throw the unofficial tourneys.

I'm not going to go to Evo because they changed it so much from last year, and actually took a few steps backwards. Less games, no Virtua Fighter 5, and less prize money = NO EVO FOR ME.
