quick vanessa question

    quick vanessa question for anyone inclined to answer: whenever i try the stomach crumple > lp > sidekick flowchart i always end up with a light down attack coming out where my sidekick should be. how the hell do i get the sidekick? i feel like i should know this by now, but i guess i've never asked....

    hold [3_] for a second while your low punch is coming out, then press K after df has been 'charged' for a split second.

    Same trick works when you want a df+P attack instead of a df+P ground punch for other characters.

    After the [2][P] just roll the stick to [3] and hit [K]. Don't pass through neutral and you won't get the down attack.

    Try
    [2_][P][2][P][2][K] to play it safe (not much difference in damage)
    I believe you can go neutral after the [2][P] and then [3][K], to get the sidekick instead of low kick.

    But with the [3]+[K] after [2]+[P], you can sweep if they're stupid and don't techroll. Nice extra damage. Can't do that with a simple [2]+[K], IIRC.

    err.. I just said you can't go neutral before the [3][K], otherwise you'll get the down attack instead of the middle kick.

    And in terms of okiseme, I'd go with the middle kick and continue to pressure from there. Like Zero said, if they don't recover, you can get another hit in. If they TR you can go for back stagger, and QR gives you a nice two-choice game.
