Sega's Next Million Seller

I think that the next game that will sell a million plus copies for SEGA will be Golden Axe Beast Rider. It looks bad ass and original enough, (with mature content blood and guts and partial nudity) to where gamers who want something new will go out and buy it. I went and prereserved when I saw the short You tube footage. The game has alot going for it as far as design and music. Since I'm not that computer knowledgeable if anyone could find the Youtube clip that would be awesome. I don't know how other SEGA games would benefit our game but if it helps put more money into VF then more power to it. This is the one must own title that I think will help put SEGA back on it's feet.

If anyone else out there thinks that SEGA has a title that will be more popular let me know. The only one that I think will come close is Sonic Unleashed.

How come I instantly thought of Heavy Metal when I saw that? It needs even less clothing to be truly on par though.

Just like Heavenly Sword, the trailer seems to resemble God of War's (in)sensibilities. Only now with riding enormous critters included in the mix, which could be a very good way to set it apart.

I heard they removed the co-op multiplayer though.

 

no co-op? then its not golden axe to me. Besides, where are the other characters? Dwarf with the giant axe? Barbarian He-man wanna be? This "chick in little clothing hack and slash" shit is way overdone now.

 

Thankyou for the comments so far. I think to understand more on the game you need to pick up the nov 2007 issue of PLAY magazine. It disscusses alot about the game and the decissions they made as far as why they decided to stick to the one character and things that make the game brilliant.

Alot of people that play games today take the internet or youtube hype and talk of a certain game and blow it way out of poportion, for good or for bad, and don't even got to the source material like interviews with the people that make the game or magazine articles. you shouldn't trust everyone out there that says this game sucks or it misses a certain option so don't buy it. Basically what I'm saying is don't take every thing at face value. And SpOOn the other characters are coming. I don't know if it will be through an expansion pack or a sequel. The only problem is if you don't buy the original it's kind of difficult to make the exp. pack or sequal.

The other thing that I wanted to point out was other games that were coming out for SEGA. Games like Samba De Amigo, Alpha Protocol, Madworld, Bayonetta, Aliens game, Yakuza 2 and 3,Valkyrie of the battlefield, etc., The thing I wanted to bring up was do you think any of these other games could be as successful as Golden Axe or more succesful.

Any ways just my predictions on the matter, plus the fact that the original 40 second trailer has 100,000 plus views on youtube!!!
