When you wake up in the morning you put the shoes on and when you go to sleep you take them off. What´s the idea? Sounds a little strange habit to me. But I´m not American or Australian so...
When you wake up in the morning you put the shoes on and when you go to sleep you take them off. What´s the idea? It's so your feet don't get wet, dirty and sore when you leave the house. Of course, you can walk about on dirty concrete barefooted if you want...
Whee, let's make this the hottest topic in the General Forum! =) I don't wear shoes in my apartment, nor house slippers (unless the floor is really cold). If other people come visit, then it depends on how "clean" I think their shoes are, and make my call either way. Yes, a subjective assessment, but...
Ok! Ok! Forget what I said! You are making funny of me or you are just misunderstanding me. I asked my question and I got the answer to it, so lets finish this discussion here! And I know it isn´t the most interesting topic.
I have a strict rule of no shoes or slippers on my carpet. My reasoning is, when people come over to watch a movie on my TV, they'll be sitting on the carpet, so I want to keep it as clean as possible. Plus, you never know, it could be a future site of many passionate love makings...and it'd be kinda nasty if at the back of your head you're thinking, "Ugh, who stepped into a pile of shit and walked all around here."
Except if the "passionate lovemakee" is the one that insists on wearing shoes into my apartment, then I have no problems with that.
would u bring ur shoes to number 42? <font color=red>~~~ 'Flock off feather brain, or u can stick around and find out the hard way!/versus/images/icons/mad.gif~~~'
