Stormlord Problem

Hi virtua fighters.
My problem is: For the last 3 months i've been playing with akira, I got to 1000 wins and 180 losses =). But the problem is, i'm still in stormlord. And guess what, i'm stuck in Stormlord for 2 MONTHS. I fought a 1/3 of my battles in stormlord rank. I just can't get to thunderlord!! I've defeated 70 CONSECUTIVE STORMLORDS. And still, I'm freakin stuck! What's wrong??? Sometimes it appears : "demote if you lose" against a Thunderlord, or Stormlord, or Dragonlord, altough I hadn't lost a fight against any of them for the last 200 fights. I did those 70 consecutive wins in 5 hours, without quiting and saving. And the 70 were against Stormlord, so it was something like 200+ battles.

Am I going crazy?

Note: This is VF4- Ver.C (not evo).

 

Hmmm if everything your saying is true looks like you may have discovered a very strange bug in the game.I got my Akira up to High King with out any problems at stormlord rank.

 

I tried again yesterday. Still no good results. Again, a 46 win streak, with 12 consecutive wins over Stormlord. AND I'M STILL STORMLORD..how irritating......
Also, my game stops very often. In loading screens, just before a match starts, and sometimes the music goes off during a match.
Yes my cd is clean, and it's not ripped.

 

Well it does appear that your disc or game has something wrong with it unfourtunately /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif.Can't you get your hands on a copy of evo now any way?

Sometimes the PS2 has problems with the "blue" cd's, there are some general FAQs about this on the internet, but it looks like you should try to find Evolution instead.

 

Answering both of you: Evolution should've come out 1 month ago in Portugal. It's on the playstation site and everything. The problem is that Portugal has lots of game distribution problems. The games ARE in the country, but not on stores..

Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne is out everywhere in europe, besides Portugal, which will get the game on stores in the end of July..

BTW, I'm still stormlord...lol..

 

Well if TFT is not in stores I definately wouldn't count on VF being in stores, are you willing to buy from international retailers (that are online), I am sure there are several online stores that sell PAL games. It is just that you might have to pay for shipping costs /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif, but at least you'll get the game. When do the shops estimate the arrival of Evolution (and TFT)?
