1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

I have a question that I'm fairly sure needs addressing, but hasn't quite yet. Would you guys mind sharing some of your training techniques for intermediate players? I find myself stuck at that level, and cannot seem to consistently perform the more advanced manuevers such as multiple evading throw escape guards, etc. What advice could you give to help me improve my game? BTW, I'm an avid Lion player who is considering spending the copious amount of time it takes to learn Akira (not sure why that would prove useful to you, but I might as well say).

    Thanks in advance!

We have a small VF community in CO if you want to play. We usually play over at my house in Castle Rock. Let me know. You'll get in some good practice there.

I play Lion and a little Akira too.

You don't happen to have a brother, do you? I believe that I may have heard of you (something about ordering Final Tuned online...?). I've begun to play fairly frequently with the state champ here in CO. If it is you I'm thinking of, he has a great deal of respect for you. Let me know if you get a chance. Small world, and all that.

Yeah I got a brother, and we did get FT after all. We'll probably have a gathering here sometime in the next few weeks so you should definitely come when it happens.

Frank, if I remember correctly, right? That'd be great. You can send me a private message with the details if you need to. Anyways, this topic is still open for discussion. If anybody has any advice on training techniques, I'm all ears.
