WORD! we are in Korea. And the comp is extremely good. My first time on the machine I lost right away to "Morrigan" a deadly female Akira... =).

I'm sitting in a internet cafe right now with IMF and Yamainu. Without Yamainu we'd be lost, cold, and hungry. I can't read anything, the setup is nice. Our motel is 100 yards from the subway and we're smack dab in the middle of the city. Picture New York with tons of korean writing everywhere =). First night was fun, got to meet in Pogni Game Center. It was like an underground mafia style room. Dark alley for entrance, garage area with only VF Evo and TTT =). It's our second day and we'll be heading to Viva Game Center tonight to get it on with around 30-40 VF hungry Koreans out for good US comp. I hope I can give it to them. Also, ICE what is going on? are you going to be here in time for the tournament? please pm me or IMF with details of your arrival. later.

Give me a time you wanna meet on MSN so you can give me all the nasty details, unless you are all over the place playing VF. How tough is the comp. Are you losing alot, PM me or something. lol

Dude just come back home before you embarrass the U.S any further. Just come back and practice for TiT5 so you can really see the reality of your skill level.

Tit5 is cool and all, but this is florida's chance to tell us about playing VF in asia against the best in the world, an experience most of us won't ever get to have in our lifetimes. No need to drag down an interesting thread with bland trash talk over a USA tournament.

Seriously, traveling from the states to the far east to play virtua fighter is decidedly hard core & I don't think anyone can question the desire & dedication of Blonde_one and IMF or anyone else on this board who travels that far to cut their teeth against the virtuosos of the game.

Sifting through VFDC you will see it reported consistantly that these two are dangerous players & with a handful of others comprise North America's best possible representation abroad. Furthermore this trip of theirs, regardless of match or tournament results, will only serve to inspire them, elevate their game & make these two more dangerous when they go to Texas in March, NY in September or wherever, whenever.

So save the "I went all the way to Korea to get beat by a girl" t-shirts you were getting silked up & RECOGNIZE!

I will to ask that no negative comments be made in this thread. I was just talking to a korean friend of mine and things said on this thread have been misunderstood by our korean counterparts. I dont want them getting a bad image of VFDC cause people dont like IMF and Blonde one. This is not an attack on anyone, just a request. Moderators please help me out on this one.

 

I support Jedi_Fei on this one. No matter how you feel about the Florida crew, they are one of the premiere NA VFer's that is dedicated enough to shell out the cash, time, and effort to participate in Asian play. They represent the US in this respect whether you like it or not. So please refrain from making unnecessary or negative comments because this does reflect negatively on the US scene. IMF and Blonde One deserve credit for their dedication to this game we all love, so please reflect that attitude in any future comments in this thread. Thank you.
