I hope for a conversion too. The varied assasination techniques are novel but I also enjoy the agility and rooftop stalking that the previous games provided. I hope this game isn't just a collection of quicktime events.

Having been a hardcore fan of Tenchu since 1999, this game looks like it's gonna be really hard for me to swallow. First off, leave it to the wii remote to fuck up fighting. For real, that looks like straight garbage, it doesn't even look like you can maneuver at all.

Also, graphics are downright hideous. Considering the direction Fatal Shadows took with the graphics, this is just plain insulting. Take one look at both games and tell me you're not crying on the inside, ESPECIALLY considering they're 4(!) years apart. wtf is with ayame holding a sword?? I'm all for change, but unless they give it good reason...and her clothing, jesus christ. They're not even trying to make it look vaguely like feudal japan anymore. oh, and rikimaru's hair... it just makes me sad. And his mouthmask shit is plain out of character to be honest.

And if that was Kiku after Gohda and Sekiya's intro, then it makes me upset. How many years did they just blow by?! But hopefully that's not the case, and since I didn't see any Ayame/Kiku madness, there's a good chance it's not. Here's hoping.

About the gameplay, it seems that some of the moves and special SKs look like they'd make too much noise, but overall a lot of them look really cool. maybe one of the only redeeming factors. But that shadow shit looks like it's too much part of core gameplay, which i desperately hope is not the case. Besides that, a lot of the additions look dope.

but unfortunately, the AI looks just as dumb as ever, giving the main characters too much advantage this time around. I've bought every iteration of the game besides the handhelds and Tenchu Z, and am a huge fan of the games... but this doesn't have my interest at all.

I read that they're coming out with other Tenchu games for the PS3 and Xbox360, so here's hoping they're worth a damn.

I liked the Tenchu on PS2 (Tenchu 3?) but I refuse to by anything on Wii unless it's on Virtual Console.

The first Tenchu is still one of the best games I ever played. The music was amazing too.
