VF Day - Countdown to VF5FS Console Release

June 6th here

First thing for me will be to get the game on 360 + the two DLC bundles. After that it's straight to dojo to test out everything i've noted about FS Akira, though I may stop to see if I can dress him in a thong on the way.

PSN seems to update pretty late over here so i'll probably grab that before bed, i'll not be getting the DLC bundles for PS3 unless I end up playing the game a lot on there.

i buy it for both consoles and 2 dlc packs for both consoles..first i download for the ps3 version..first thing go to dojo to command training with my akira and after to dress him.. we have similarities Feck

on xbox360 i dont have a gold card member..i will use it for practice until get a gold card or i play it on 360 when my bro plays ps3.. i mainly for ps3 but anw i play it for both systems..

Lately, here in the US on the East Coast, the PSN store has been updating quite early (around 3 PM), can't wait to re-learn Sarah what with all her new moves and such. Gonna (try) to own a lot of u guys and gals on here.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but DOES ANYONE know if the PS3 version will allow custom music from ur HDD to be played in place of the game's ost. I mean I just want to use it for IF i ever get tired of the same music after a while.

I had just finished my semester at my college, and am off until Sept, so lots of time to play VF5:FS aside from a few hours of work almost every night of every week and a week long stay at my grandfather's in July. Hopefully I get enough VF5:FS in me to last a week.

 

June 6th for me as well. I have the whole week off just to play FS. I'm getting both item packs before I do anything, then I'm going to dress up my new Goh with some awesome clothes and hit the dojo to mess around.

I can picture it now! I can't wait.

Am I being stupid and missed something? Why does the countdown for 5th June say 11 days? Shouldn't it say 13 days? The count down for the 6th of June is correct though (it says 14 days).

 

I think this countdown is universal, and Asia is 1 day ahead of USA.

Day 1 for PSN and I'll purchase XBL version ASAP
Btw, XBL points is about $40 for 4000 pts on ebay, not bad.

 

Nice!! 2 weeks of dojo before I head online. Me and cidkid made it a must to have more offline battle than online.. There is no exudes now.

 

Then why is the countdown for 6th June correct for me? The release date's are one day apart but there's a difference of 3 days between the 2 countdowns.

Best call me up when you're going offline to fight! We should do next level arcade every week once FS comes out. I remember Rodnesy was talking about doing streams too. If you can bring the gear to my crib I could stream too, I have a nice set up too.

 

Ok, so the 3 day gap between the two timers that should only be one day is because the two dates are being shown for two completely different timezones? I get it now.

Back to the point. First thing I'm gonna do is get the 2 DLC bundles then customise the shit out of every single character. With 5 slots per character and so many awesome ways to customise that might take me a few days lol. Then I'll be hitting the dojo to brush up because as I learnt a few days ago I'm rusty as...a thing that's really rusty.

This countdown's gonna make the wait even more painful!

im getting the ps3 version only i have xbox but most of the great japanese players play on ps3 i already got chabita on my psn friends list i sent him a message that i want him to be the first guy i play against he replied with smiley faces. i guess that means im gonna get whipped

I'm buying it from the PSN and the bundles. Surely will request people from here and expect to look for a PS3 section, since there is an XBL one.

Getting it for PS3. Of course I'll be picking up the DLC as well, since in total it's still less than a brand new game on disc. First thing I'll do is hop into the dojo and check out how they've changed things since vanilla VF5, then see how great the new training options are. Probably end up picking up a few online matches to round off the day and get my backside handed to me.
