VF4 News: VF4 to ship next week in Japan

Sega began contacting arcade distributors today in Tokyo to provide updated release information regarding Virtua Fighter 4. From what we've been told, the game will be available beginning early next week in limited quantities. Orders are currently being taken for full VF4 cabinets, with Naomi2 upgrade kits expected to be available later this month. Sega expects nearly all their arcade facilities across Japan to have Virtua Fighter 4 available by next weekend. As previously reported however cabinet and kit pricing for remains rather high, nearly double the cost of Namco's new fighter Tekken 4.
