woah, watching them Goh clips are getting me excited. his new moves I'm liking however I still see no purpose in the P, K back turn move. I hope it actually does something in VF5 like a counter throw judo type move if the opponant grabs you from behind. His back turned moves weren't exactly great.

that was a brilliant clip! the rain drops and spray of water when Pai hits on the fence is fabulous!!

the body structure of kage looked more human and in the right proportion. to me, slower characters seems very smooth, and the faster ones like Eileen (especially) and Pai looked a bit choppy in animation, moving too fast? or is it my eyes! /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Far and away my favorite stage so far. It has detail, feels ALIVE, interesting animations, nice balance of clutter vs. clean functionality, fits with the VF feel, etc.

One thing I really like so far is the character design updates....much better. Each character feels more distinct in terms of style, posture, moves, animation, size, etc. Good job AM2 on that front.

Yeah I agree the Kage/Pai clip has by far the most interesting play/stage/music so far. To be honest I was a bit underwhelmed by the El Blaze clips. Nothing so far seemed right and my excitement really waned since the first few direct feed clips hit the web.

After seeing the Goh clips and the Kage/Pai clip, I'm confident that AM2 will put out a VF that will meet our expectations. It seems that more people are putting out clips now, but since you can only do 1 a day, we need more people to upload their vids.

I associate the music with the stage much more so than the characters with the stage. The stages stand on their own. That Shun/Sarah match in the, I don't know, ballroom patio stage - the music sounded like something out of a James Bond movie. Super high class type stuff to fit the setting.

I so dislike vf4 Evo music - just blah background noise to me - version C stuff was better to me. I don't even remember VF3 music even though I played the game once a week for years. I did like VF2 stuff - Akira stage = YES!!!

VF5 music = rightfuckingonthankyou.

Totally agree, I like the music as well. The music goes well with thier respective stage (though some do seem like they could use some improvement). It makes each stage even more unique. And the production values, you can tell they put more effort into the music. Much better than the music in VF4, which had only a couple of decent tracks overall.
