(Virtua Fighter) Why does Pai hate Lau?

    I've always been curious about their relationship, anyone know the full story behind these two?? I was only curious because during the "ending" CG sequence in Virtua Fighter III: Team Battle(Dreamcast),it shows Lau being a mentor of sorts to Pai and helping her with her technique, then the scene transitions over to her alone in her room, punching a picture of Lau..
