It is confirmed Patch 1.07 is scheduled to be released next week. Version 1.06 was the World Stage update on October 30th. At least one confirmed Steam bug will be fixed with this latest patch: Game have trouble starting up if "Windows logon user account name (the user account name under the C drive and Users folder) contains multi-byte strings".

Virtua Fighter players and its community is something to behold. Starting today, players around the world should be able to play VF5 R.E.V.O. World Stage on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Switch 2 version of the game will be available in Winter. Please share your findings and experience with this latest version of Virtua Fighter!

There are many types of lag. Online lag, monitor lag, jet lag...but most likely the best type of LAG is the Los Angeles Gathering! A "grassroots Virtua Fighter offline event born out of passion, community, and cross-cultural connection," there will be a random select tournament and 3vs3 team tournament on October 10th and ends with singles tournament on October 11th.

Update: October 6, 2025. Both VFOC Europe Qualifiers are completed! 8 players advance to the Europe Regional Finals on October 19, 2025. During the Tokyo Game Show Exhibition Match for VF5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, additional details for the Virtua Fighter Open Championship Series Global Finals was revealed. The first official VF international event series will conclude on March 1, 2026 at Tokyo Node with all 10 qualified players receiving at least $1,000 dollars!

Announced during the Exhibition Match at Tokyo Game Show, there will be an Open β Test for VF5 R.E.V.O. World Stage from October 1, 8 PM to October 6, 7:59 PM PDT (October 2 12 PM to October 7, 11:59 AM in Japan).

New VF Project is not the only Virtua Fighter to be shown at Tokyo Game Show. The upcoming VF5 R.E.V.O. World Stage game is playable at the show. In addition, an 3on3 exhibition match will take place on Sunday morning in Japan.
