agreed with @leftylizard , also got to say seeing a psychologist & psychiatrist if you haven't already is a good step too. There are some good treatments out there.
Agreed with all previous advice, and see about medication if you can/haven't already. Try to keep yourself occupied, although I know that's hard as hell when you don't have the will or energy to do anything. It does get better.
If possible, to supplement the above suggestions: do not isolate yourself. Find community and a support network. If you don't already, look for one with similar interests. You are bound to find people with similar experiences as depression is a very common ailment in our atomized/highly individualized society.
