Good news everyone, my broke ass just bought an Avermedia LG Portable. If it works well then I can start providing streaming for Socal VF.

    Excellent news!

I want someone to run VF at WNF this Wednesday. It's my wedding anniversary so Catherine and I are going out for the evening.

Running the tournament is not hard. Mike Watson is extremely helpful. Just let him know. The more difficult part is making sure that people sign-up  - don't be afraid to walk up to someone and say "Hey! Good to see you. Sign up for VF!"

    It's worth the effort.

Note: DRE usually makes it right at 9:30 - so please wait for him before telling Mike to start the bracket.

OK! If I'm around then I can take care of it!

The capture device came in the mail. Been maessing around with it, haven't attempted streaming yet but so far I am very pleased, especially with it's ability to record WITHOUT being connected to a PC:

thanks 00000 for doing something about the streaming situation at WNFS. I am a big fan of the streams and was kinda sad that it stopped being streamed.

St1ckbug has a LGP, they used it to record the matches from the last NYC tourney.

I just might get one, its so simple!

Yeah, guys. So far, it's pretty dope. You know, i thought about it and 180$) isn't so bad considering that a used PVR (out here) by hauppague, elgato, etc, will run you from 80-150$.

I'll see what I can do about getting a stream running ;]
