So, there's a three-person room in the Lonsdale Lodge, which isn't very close to the venue, but has the benefit of being close to a lot of transport and not being that far from the city centre. It's my first time in London so I want to go and see what the city has to offer, and as we're only gonna be spending one day at the venue, being close to it isn't a high priority for me, whereas having easy access to the city centre is.

It's also quite cheap at just under €400 for four nights. I don't think it includes breakfast, but that's actually a bonus for me

Anyone wanna share this room? I'll be in London from thursday til monday. Please let me know quickly

I think Cheeky only uses Jean... MDS I think mostly Vanessa, possibly some Goh? And then Hyperion I seem to recall is a VF4 era (at least) Fei player. All UK fighters AFAIK. My apologies if I've got anything wrong there.

Interesting no Shun, except for the JP presumably. There's a great UK Shun on live called SakeLee, who I've seen streak a few rooms now, but don't really know much about him/her. Could be quite a young player, as they're often on one of those yu-gi-oh games

It's a very tough line-up of who's going, no doubt. Pai players, stay calm, focused, and give it your best shot!

 

Yes, I play Pai. But I'm not entering the tournament, only playing casuals.

You'll allowed to switch your character, only when you lose though within that set. Or before the set has started.

Unfortunatelly still nothing about controllers.

I will attend even if HBX will be banned cause I wish to see all of you guys, but leaving announcement of such important thing to very last moment is... say it is making me damn nervous

Unicorn HBX? As in HitBox? They shouldn't be banned as far as I know.

 

Only retarded tournaments ban types of controllers. Especially in a game like vf where its oretry much impossible to gain an advantage by using a different controller. No reason to be worried about anything.

I know there are no issues with them in USA but in Cannes, I exchanged about 5 or 8 emails with organizers before they decide not to ban them.
So I was a bit nervous

 

What do I need to prepare controller-wise for this? Can I just rock up with my PS3 controller and play?

 

Gonna need some sort of pad converter IvorB. There might be one provided.
