I had to say, thanks for the stream, the matches were awesome and I had linked it to my friends on facebook. Can't wait to see EU play during Sega cup Europe, not to mention I am a fan of Jide.

That being said, the commentary was really bad. This is just my opinion of course, (speaking mainly about grand finals). there were times where they were talking about stuff like partying and other things having nothing to do with the match. And the times they WERE focused on the matches, it was 'oohs and ah's' or stating the super obvious. it did nothing to show how awesome the matches were to people who weren't VF players, or even those who were.

I have to say that commentators have the most important job of all when it comes to exposing VF to potential new players -- they have to decipher what's going on in the match and explain what's happening to the people who don't know the VF system. Its hard (especially with how fast the game is), but if it works, you basically will be the best way to show potential VF players how the game works and how beautiful it is.

Many thanks for recording and uploading the session, just watched the whole of it! Always great to hear about the Gamesmaster days in between bouts as well :)

For the Pai lovers, there's a nice mirror match at around 48 minutes in, between Aion & Zero Ex. Battle of the cartwheels!! :D
