Just got back from FinalRound this morning and the first thing I see is Akira Featured in DOA5...I think flew into to another dimension.

It looks cool. I'm just a bit ashamed of VF being in another franchise that has done so many ridiculous things. (Xtreme beach volleyball etc.)

But DOA5 looks really good I won't lie. The models and everything about the game so far looks legitimate. Looks like they're better off without Itagaki from what I can tell so far.

It would be interesting to see some other VF characters in there as well, simply because I love DOA's tag battle and the tag moves they could come up with. Wolf and Bass would be great fun.

Lmao, I knew you were going to love this. First VF player I thought about was you, second was DaBadSeed. If they put either Goh, Lion or Aoi in DOA5 I can see you guys having some badass DOA battles with VF characters!

About the game, all I gotta say is: wtf took them so long??? Lol, I mean, same button layout and both games have what each other lacks.
For VF: the ability to button mash.
For DOA: more depth.
It should be interesting to see if they change up all of the VF character inputs in order to make it more accessible and mash-friendlier for DOA fans.

If DOA does Akira justice then VF X DOA should be next.

After watching this, all my thoughts that a DOA vs VF game would suck has now vanished all away. The video was extremely promising. If time permits, I wouldn't mind getting good enough to join the tournament DOA scene.

I don't really understand why people are exited... I hate DOA because it lacks everything that makes VF a good game. They are opposites as far as I'm concerned.

They've done some amazing work with DOA5! I love that they look much more human than anime now. If Akira is in it, I'm already sold! Now just add Aoi and I would go crazy with excitement .

I feel that Dead or Alive always reminded me more as the Fighting Vipers series in the aspect of hitting someone hard across either direction, from a special counter move or not. I would have preferred another Fighters Megamix from seeing this, because Dead or Alive never stood out enough for me.

Fighting Vipers vs Dead or Alive sounds better.

It's nice to see this... People on Youtube are crying about missing Kokoro...

Next characters I'd personally like to see in this game, Jean, Lion, Kage, Brad, and Jeffry or Taka...

I'm also liking how this DOA is starting to look more like DOA3 in terms of system and the overall gritty/dark feel...

I just hope they do away with that stupid moving danger zone...
