what up Pa I moved down here from Mi a couple of months ago and I'm trying to set up some gathering at my place all are invited they will be every saturday 7 or 8pm until when ever I have every fighting game you could think of systems I have are 360 ps3 soft mod ps2 modded xbox wii sega saturn and a third strike cab I have plenty of joystick for every system so please post if interested ps there will be punch and pie lol I live in Carlisle 15 min from harrisburg I think its like 45 from philly

 

how many min is it from Pittsburgh? like 4 hrs? since pittsburgh is 5 hrs from philly

 

harrisburg is right inbetween philly and pittsburgh so its about a 2 - 2 and a half hour drive either way.

 

hm gonna see if I can talk herkdawgIII into doing a weekend trip. He generally works on the weekends so we'll see. I like it though a Sat gathering. Is there a bus that goes there?

 

yeah the greyhound station is 25 min away I have no prob picking people up from there

Wow, I seriously cannot believe I've never visited this site before. I discovered VF4 almost five years ago and the only play I got was practicing for when I would meet my cousin every six months. Anyway, I live in the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton area, which is just on the PA/NJ border. I'm moving to State College (Penn State University Park) in a couple of days. Any VF players currently there?

 

I'm a DE dood but I can get to PA for some games. Although if Low Sweep goes I'm stayin home.

Where do you normally meet? I mean, judging from the posts, we're all from all over the bloody state, and beyond. Where I will be in a few days, State College, is I think 30 mins - 1 hour from Harrisburg.

Well first off there's definitely more than 1 group here. There's some in Philly, North East PA, Western PA, etc. I myself am from NJ near NYC but I don't care how far I go, I love meeting new players, just as long as I have the resources to go (money, car, someone else drives, etc) I'm going to Chibiaya's gathering and that's about 3 hours from me.

Maybe it's a good idea to find out exactly where everyone is from and go from there?

 

Yea, thats a good idea. Anyway, I'll be starting classes soon and probably be very busy on weekdays, but I'd be very keen to meet up with others for VF4 (and maybe Evo, if I get into it) matches.
