right now im LOVING the WDTV, the only downside is the damm DTS sound for mkv . wish a patch would fix it but i doubt it. its kinda cumbersome to use another program just so we can get audio. oh well heres hoping someone will find an easy solution

 

The reason why WDTV can't support DTS coz they didn't pay the copyright. I wish this problem could be solved but no one can guarantee that. The easiest way is to get one Z-5500 speakers and the price is reasonable for an entry level. Almost 99% mkv files with DTS sound now and it's just a regular setup for a home theater.

Well, WDTV already drag me into a black hole and I'm trying to feed it with my best. I can't do it at once but I believe what I pay for is definitely worth!!!!

LOL. I was just about to come in and say "hey, get the WD 1TB one". Looks like everyone was way ahead.

I've got 2 of the WD 1TB's, and their reliability is absolutely critical because I use them for work. I honestly wouldn't buy any other unit because I'm so happy with them.
