Arcades in SJ

I think the closest Evolution machine you are going to get is in NYC... There is a VF4: Ver B (not evolution) machine at University Pinball in Philly, I believe, and also one at a Denny's in Egg Harbor Township (close to where I live)... That's Atlantic county though, I think a bit further south than where you are at (outside of Atlantic City)....

NJ Gathering...again

Oki...this is very short notice but I was thinking of holding another gathering this weekend. If no one can't make it this weekend then I'll just plan it for later this month but I would like to get as much playing time in. Aight ppl, tell me what you think.

Hi, I'm new to VF4 scene. I've already tried PM'ing supergolden about playing some ppl. I used to play SC2 hardcore (there is a weekly tourney at 8otb arcade) and am trying to get into VF4:E somewhat.

I am in North NJ, nearest arcade is at Wayne, NJ at Fun n Games in Willowbrook mall (there is 1 Evo machine). I am willing to travel to central NJ to get some comp.

Welcome to VFDC, Skyrend. My friend Tim aka Bibulus told me about some people who play in Willowbrook. I'm guessing that you're one of them? I haven't been to Willowbrook in a loooong time but it's great to hear that they have an Evo machine there (woohoo!!!!!) I'll see if I can stop by sometime to get in some games. Anyway, as you read, I will be hosting a gathering this weekend. If you and your friends can't go then hopefully you will make it to the other one later this month. CNJ Here ...... VF4 console player ... got evo like 3 weeks ago ... played arcade version at willowbrook some time ago

Im new to the VF4 scene but if any of you guys are down for after hours play I am always down for a session after work. I wont be able to attend most gatherings as I work 6 days a week and I play in the Soul Calibur 2 weekly tourney's every week on my day off (unless I have a good reason not to attend) so most of my play is after hours (IE 12-3 or later).

Bumping this thread up. I'll probably be at the I <3 VF thing on Saturday if ppl are still playing. I'm in NJ from Dec. 12 to Jan. 3, so when would be a good times to get games in? I'd like to play especially learn from Akira Zero. I've heard good things about your game.

Skyrend? I remember seeing you around the Chicago gathering boards. Were you able to make it to the tournament at Columbia? If not, you missed a doozy. There was some pretty stiff competition on Evo, but not a whole lot. Everyone that showed up was pretty much into SC2. I also read your previous post about you wanting to learn from Akira_Zero. You'd be wise in doing so. I should know. When I lived in Jersey we had some classic battles! Speaking of which, long time no see, AZ! Thought you'd never hear from me again, eh? You're not that lucky! I know that you've improved your game. So have I, but I don't play with Vanessa much anymore (surprising, eh?). I stick with Pai (of course) and Lei Fei. If I ever make it back out there, we're gonna have to duke it out like last time! I also wanna get some rematches with Shag. I'm still hurting from the Lei Fei beatdown he gave me!

Yea, I was there. I got 3rd and mostly played Goh/Sarah. I remember getting in some matches with you, but I don't think we matched up in the tournyey.

What times are good for everyone? I realize that it's finals time for anyone in college, but everyone should be done by this weekend... How does sometime this weekend sound?
