is that too late? I just called 7 or 8 because it might

haha, lol dont worry about staying too late. dude our gatherings usually START at 7-8pm and run throughout the night uptill like 4-5 in the morning. i sometimes stay over at fals (cause i come on the bus), whereas most of the other peeps who come with their own transportation leave. however i'll do my best to make it in the afternoon to accomodate you /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

i'm up for a gathering this week but the problem is that the guy (moby) who usually brings his ps2 over so that we can play evo is going to toronto for a couple of weeks this weekend so without him we wont have access to vf:evo, which honestly is the vf i like to play now. i haven't touched the original VF4 for ages because its too different and two of my main characters are significantly changed from the original (shun's usually my main character and he's very different to play in both games). but i really dont mind playing the original game (since moby's going for awhile we wont have access to evo for awhile, or at least till falchion mods his ps2, which seems to be never /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif).................................that is unless you have evo and wouldn't mind bringing over ur ps2??

you see, that's a problem for me, because i dont have a convinient transportation.
My mom will drop me off and pick me up, and she's not too good at directions, so i will be looking at the map and find the house, but if it's too late, she won't be(and she wouldn't want to)able to find the house again.
hmm.. so.. that's my problem..
bringing ps2 is no problem.

so because of my transportation crap problems, maybe i was wondering if we could start a little(?) earlier than usual?

oh hey ric if you read this, i started a bit of SCII for the first time the other day while at moby's place. its quite a lot of fun. i dont know a damn thing about it though and only really learned a bit of ivy's and heihachi's movelists and was playing them throughout the night.

anyway i've got a host of questions for you and was wondering if you could help me get more solid at the game. i browsed through the movelist for ivy but i still get really confused by the notations (just not used to seeing d/f as 3 and such, lol). btw how is ivy on the tier rankings anyway?? i've just played the game once but she seems to be the SF equivalent of dhalism in this game, i.e incredible reach but she seems to suck up close because moby was raping me up close but thats mostly because he's a veteran and that was my first time (p.s i know the national champ used her throughout the tourney, however i dont have any of his vids to watch /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif). damn wish i had regular access to the game. wanna practice it some more /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif. anyhow reply whenever you can.

oh and dont worry about the SARS stuff man, theres hardly any cases of it here compared to toronto. you've got a better chance of getting needle-pricked by a druggie and catching AIDS then you have of getting SARS. kain's just being paranoid /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

Pghacker: well some good news dude, moby's cancelled his trip till next week. however that was because he's totally tied up with work and is booked throughout the week till he takes of so he's defintiely not going to be able to make it to the gathering. however he did say he might be able to drop of his ps2 so we could then have evo. i'll post and tell you how it pans out /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

regarding ur ps2, is it modded (or perhaps a japanese ps2)?? if not then there's no reason for you to bring it.

Ivy is probably top/close to top tier. Good luck w/ her!!! I don't care for her...but she is very solid. Read up on the forums.

As far as the number conventions. They just follow the number pad on the right of your keyboard. 214 = qcb...stuff like that.
