So I take it ghost dog is good? That's cool if he is, I mean if you played him. One thing I have noticed from being a gamer for some time, is just because someone posts a lot and knows a lot of information doesn't make them a good player. Well hopefully he can kick my ass sometime. As far as getting as good as Japan...honestly, I have no interest in that. To much effort for me to be honest, all I'm really interested is being competitive on a local or national level, or rather being able to play any decent to good player and still have fun. I usually use gaming as an excuse to travel aimlessly to places I've never been before and meet odd people nowadays. Go fig.

As I look ahead I see that my competitive "proving my worth" gaming days are done; however I'll look forward to getting my ass kicked on the reg by the lot of you who are in pursuit of greater gamer status. In a cliche' type of way I'm kind of been there and done that, it's just not on my top ten list anymore, but mo powah to those who still feel the burn.

 

Good games to all. Did you all like how easy I went on you, and how I kept playing? I was even letting the blonde jacky player win, I never do that. I figured that if I let up on you guys that I would see some of your shit, and be able to tell who is actualy the better player from Mt Dora, since I haven't really been doing that. Obviously it is IMF right now. Sorry, but since you guys don't speak at all I figured that it was the only way to see your skill. I saw lots of skill with IMF and some nice patterns that The Dude has w/ Lion. I was hoping that The Dude would do something else, (or at least try something else) after Lions F+p+g throw. Is that the best Lion can do after that throw? I could have easily escaped it, or p,p,p'd it away, seeing as you've become predictable with that throw, but I wanted to see some juggles. What is it that you do? F+p, stall, f+p+g? It's not bad, but it doesn't really do alot of damage, not that I want you to take off more damage against me, but I think you should be able to. Can you do an uppercut, then double kick, and pounce? Something because it is really weak, but it is more powerful than his HCB+p+g throw so I guess it isn't all that bad.

I knew some of you had personal vendetta's against me. I remember cutting in line too. I got away with it didn't I? Blow me, cocksmoker. You're a Virtual punching bag to me, saltybreath. I saw what skill you had, which was nil, and I saw you accidentally stall and fail combos. You have no set ups, barely any beat knuckle combos, and the ones you did do looked like you had no idea how to finish it. I could beat you by just doing p,p,p the whole round. Were you dropped on your head as an infant? Several times? I've never seen a shittier Jacky played in my life, dickface. Is it so hard for you to do p+k, p, K or d+k? I mean for the love of god I want to play good people, but I cannot help you to get better if you can't grasp the simple concept of finishing your damn combos! You need your own machine to play on, against a statued opponent for awhile so you can figure out your characters combos before you attempt to become competitive. Oh, and about me sucking, you really really suck, you suck so bad you wouldn't know a good player if he hit you in the mouth. So I take your words and advice with a grain of salt. Actually less than a grain. Thanks for your venting post anyway. You can shove it up your ass now, fag.

I play CvS2 and MvC2 pretty well. Theres lot of people at Rocky's Replay that play pretty good too. However there is more MvC2 comp then CvS2 comp, but the CvS2 comp if fierce, so I hope you come to play, and learn. Can you teach me anything? What characters do you like to use? In CvS2 I like Blanka, vega, Rolento, Sagat, Hibiki, Ken, Honda, and that's about it for now. I'm actually in training for a tournament in Atlanta that I am going to next weekend, so if you can provide some good matches then I'd love to play you. If you need a ride and you're close to me I can even come and pick you up. In MvC2 I use Sentinel BLackheart and Capt Commando team, Blackheart, Cable, Cyclops team, Cable, Sentinel Psylocke team, and Magneto Sentinel, Psylocke team. There are some awesome Magnetos players there and they give me a good fight always. On behalf of the Orlando players, welcome. I think you're going to like living in Orlando, FL. Just be shy around those Mt Dora folks that play VF4 and Tekken. I think they might be gay......

Enkindu, IMF, Gaishou, the Dude and any others, sorry I could not make it up there last night. I had to help my fiance' with some of her homework. I will prolly be going up there myself in the next 2 hours to try and make up some practice and try a couple new tricks I learned with Akira (very cool)!!
Anyway, it sounds like you'll had some good matches.
As for playing it when it comes out on PS2--damn right I will. But, I will still be making trips to Rocky's for competition if that's the only place to get it.

BTW, who is willing for regular competition when it is released on PS2? Any challengers accepted, although I may lose. I can always use the practice.

Enkindu, when did you say you are leaving for the tournament isn Atlanta? We should try to get some more vf4 practice in before you leave.

I leave on the 18th and won't return til the 20th. I have the 21st off so I'll be looking to play VF4 then. However I think I should concentrate on CvS2, MvC2, Smash Bros Melee, and Super Turbo for now. Sorry, but I need to practice.

 

My own view is to bring back a new and improved version of the #vfhome Chat Room. One where the brotherhood of man reaches out and embraces all the lonely women sitting in the arcade alone and needing Lustful Dudes who know how to get it on while reciting Shakespeare, wearing a cape and sky blue A-Go-Go boots. BTW, good luck in the tournament. Be sure to represent us well. Show the people in Atlanta what's up. We will get some good practice in around the 21st.

Enk going to ATL? Me too, but I'm leaving tomorrow most likely not sure how long I'll stay still pondering. Heh if I manage to stay a week, which is doubtful depending on the peeps and my tolerance level I may see you there.

 

Enk doesn't only play virtua fighter. And how is it to early for a tourney? Tournies should happen as often as possible for cash. My 2 cents.

was good to see good comp up there is all......imf can be pretty tough for my sorry ass...and your lau, my good man, can be a beast.....i thought all the shit talking on the board is amusing. shit talking can be fun...as long as people don't get too serious about it. i've actually seen people go to battle over a killer instinct game......lol. keep it fun people. thats why most of us do this.....

BTW,

how do you all find out about other tourneys?? the only ones i've heard of were at crotchies...i haven't seen a cvs2 tourn yet....

 

That's enough from you Enk. This thread pretty much goes against the posting for dummies rules all the way around.Yet up to this point I have found it necessary to generate interest about VF in FL. We really have come quite far since it has started. And though it may go against the nono's of this forum, I can't help but hope that it countinues to generate more positive VF enthusiasm in the state of FL. So what we don't need from you Enk is the 3-6 pointless posts per day choking our thread with name calling, shit talking, nonsense. I don't see how that's really helping anything. Please Stop.
