Hehe IMF, once it's started it's very hard to stop it...Enk is a force of nature when it comes to posting. Believe me, I tried.

As far as how you found about tournaments, http://www.shoryuken.com for capcom
    http://www.tekkenzaibatsu.com for tekken
    http://www.guardimpact.com for soul calibur
    and you know virtua fighter....

all of them have forums, and dood there have been 3 tournaments at rockies with relatively good success for the state of FL and tournies in general, it was called OD ran by me ;) 2 CvS2 tournaments happened there....though I think OD is done now....I think....unless my gaming vice gets the better of me.

Uncauzi, do you think you can make it up to Rocky's tomorrow any time between 5 and 8pm? Hope so. I will be there and I am going to try to get Enk and IMF to go as well, but we will see.
Also, to THE MYTH, you should try to come up there as well. There should be some competition.
I do not know the blonde one, Gaishou, and barely know the Dude, but if you guys can show up- the more the merrier'!
I was there earlier today and got stopped by Dural with some unbelievable combos (very cheap, but cool)! Just another learning lesson.
Tried to help show some guys up there some moves/combos for wolf. Hopefully, if they learn more they will keep coming back and stay loyal to VF. A bigger player foundation would be awesome- more people who know what they are talking about when they speak of combos, throws, and protocols. We do not need another Uncauzi, he can barely bodycheck with akira.

    Just kidding, Unc!!

Anyway, someone try to make it up there tomorrow, please.

    Also,
Who was it that mentioned a VF team in Florida? Or, at least around here. IMO, we got good enough players to have a team that could even be called "good". I'm up for it, how about anyone else? With Uncauzi, Enkindu, Iron Monkey Fist, the Dude, Ghostdog, and some others perhaps (Gaishou and the blonde one--not to disinclude you guys, but I don't want to speak for you guys since I don't know you). Between all of us we may be good and even have some talent.
Anyway, Enkindu mentioned Team Rocky's 2002-- is there any possiblity to this?
People, please reply, as the more people we get playing and show more interest, the less likely Rocky's is to take VF4 away. I am sick of going up there and playing people who don't know basic moves, and this gets them angry and makes them not want to play. Besides, we all enjoy the game and we love the competition, but try to give a less experienced guy some advice on how to improve his game to play you better. It's only a win-win situation.

    IMF,
Any thoughts on the situation I mentioned?
Would you be willing to be on a VF team of some kind?
    Can you represent O town?

Hey guys, Just finished up looking at some heavy jacky strats. I'm all for some good old fashioned comp. I had to cool off before I posted regarding Enk's paragraph dedicated to me. It's all good, no haters. A team is what I think IMF, THE DUDE, and myself had in mind, I would truly love that. Weekly get togethers and practicing hardcore shit. Thatz what its all about guys. Catch ya'll this weekend, hopefully I'll have some better setups, "And I'll finish my combos" =). Akira I don't know if I've ever played or seen you? who do you play most often? later guys.

wow dood sounds like your feeling the burn again, nice to bad I can't be a part of this vf uprising. However if you all ever decide to make a pilgrimage to say NY or SVGL let me know.

    What are you talking about?
Are you definately moving to NY. You don't really want to do that. Besides, if you move there then whose Shun am I gonna whoop with my Pai? Also, we may start getting some more competition. We just need a schedule.
And, I may become the next VF4 World Champion (HaHa), and you wouldn't want to miss that.

Hey Whats up guys, Im the new "kid on the block" the brother to that bright lookin young fellow over there (Blonde_one) I look to get my feet wet in VF4 Seeing as though ive been following my brother in different fighting games all over such as Tekken to CVS2 (not good at all o_O) Soul Calibur (Mitsurugi!) and a Smash Bros. Demon ¬_¬ () Dont try me fool... But i hope to get some beatins from a few i already know Here (IMF, DUDE, Blonde_One). And im all about the Team thing 'cause god knows i need some serious help on VF4 seeing as though i cant even beat Blonde_One and look what Enk Had to say about him Lol.

BTW, you are right. I am feeling the burn again, I have VF4 fever. Be careful, it can be contagious. Once you see some of my new moves you may want to do the same. On second thought, disregard that last sentence. I don't know what I was thinking.
But, by you asking if I am getting that burn makes me wonder if you are losing interest in the game. I hope not. You are one of the best, if not the best, around here. I once lost interest because there was just nobody to play. That sucks. You need to find your own way to stay interested. Find competition. If IMF, Enkindu, or myself are not good enough to keep you motivated than tell me and I will try harder to improve my game so I can keep my competition in Orlando. Don't take offense to any of this. It's to motivate not irritate.

Actually I just got 2 possible roommates for NyC, but it's not set in stone yet. I won't be making any decisions until after I rent out this condo/check out cali and atl anyway. For now I'm still here though.

P.S. I think you all have hella potential if peeps just put away their assumptions about one another and concentrate on gaming. The other day was cool to me primarily because there was a little bsing involved and not the general cold sighs and wayward glances that generally goes on; especially between me and IMF. You don't really need me though dood, one thing that the three have going for them is dedication and perseverance...I'm just a fly by night kick your ass while I can type of guy, been that way since after VF2...errr...Tekken 3. Aka I'm a lazy game player. That's one thing I'll say about Enk, he's do what it takes to win when it counts and he's not lazy. He's kind of like me as far as how he will sometimes simplify a match if you let him, but just don't let some of the simple tactics fool you. He does sometimes do things in the name of experimentation, showing that he's about constant growth on his own level. Not that he memorizes texts or reads strats online but he's about his own innovation. Don't know anything about ghostdog but I suppose he's an information data base considering how much he posts.

So you got a foundation, you know the 3 will be playing. You got innovation, Enk will find a way. Enthusiasm is where you come in. And the techie I assume in GhostDog. I know I'll be the cheerleader! I'm hella sexy in a mini skirt.....well not really.
Tell you what if I stay in FL I'm in, I can be the ecletic blow hard with self defeating tendencies who goes out of his way to do "different" things.

    or something...rambling is fundamental.

    Welcome to the neighborhood.
I am sure you will like VFDC and I am happy to see that you are taking your brothers advice as VF4 is IMO, the only game worth playing. It's always nice to have more competition around, too.
Have you ever played any VF before VF4?
Not that it will matter. I see you play Akira. If you can become proficient with him you will do fine. I am also an Akira player. While I am not as good as I would like, I am learning. If there is anthing I can answer for you sometime, don't be afraid to ask. I will answer any question I can, even it has to do with my own strategy.
    Well, again, welcome.

Thanks Akira, I just thought it would be interesting to play yet another game that has gone from VF all the way to VF 4, Kinda like tekken...but its slowly dropping the bomb and running out of its fun.. TTT was the best one of their 5 games. Well anyways. Lets get back to VF4: about questions wise, Is Akira really the best character to start out as? i want to be atleast standard in a few months... and if it is Akira do you have any sites i could go to to look at moves ( ive just started playing VF2 (saturn) umm...lets see...3 Hours Ago! Woo, making great progress here. So i seriously need some help with move lists, combos, the works.

Time and the dust of the empty desert now cover the big Arcade. My Nichole, gone before to an early grave, has left me with the tears of regret. None, but the lonely heart can disclose what it is that makes a man ride off. The wolves howl at the moon and my six-gun is never away from my side. What am I to do? How can I stay? A bandito's life is not for sitting in an arcade. I am found now, once more, in the Baja, alone at the seaside table. Here the Pacific ocean cools the hooves, of my horse, in it's raging surf. Don Enkindu! Don Enkindu! how I long for the presidential palace and the adoring crowds of my people. Here laying drunk in the sands and sea I am alone. The arcade is far away.

That's enough from you Enk. This thread pretty much goes against the posting for dummies rules all the way around.Yet up to this point I have found it necessary to generate interest about VF in FL. We really have come quite far since it has started. And though it may go against the nono's of this forum, I can't help but hope that it countinues to generate more positive VF enthusiasm in the state of FL. So what we don't need from you Enk is the 3-6 pointless posts per day choking our thread with name calling, shit talking, nonsense. I don't see how that's really helping anything. Please Stop.

ps:if you're going to continue to lose on purpose why keep playing?

Again, I play for my own purposes, not to kick your ass in it. If by some miracle of god you become better than me, I'll let you know. Otherwise let go of my nuts!

It's all in fun though. Isn't it? I still haven't figured out how to go to Jumanji stance after Kage's moves. I think it involves P+K somehow. i think it has to do with how the move hits the other opponent and if you've pressed p+k after the move was executed. That doesn't sound right. Damn I wish I could figure it out.

Good games yesterday Uncauzi, you Lei Fei kicks so much ass. I should be focused on Capcom games, but Kage keeps calling me to come and play...........come and play........must perfect jumanji transition......I must!

Oh, I just read a Kage guide which was pretty confusing because of the lack of explainations translated into english and the acronyms that I don't understand. I did however find that most of the jumanji transitions can happen by holding P after executiong the move. I swear though that I did a jumanji transition after Kages spinning heel kick (d+g+k) however I am clueless on how this is executed. It isn't listed in the guide. I can't wait for version C to be released.

PS I heard Team-Rox 2002 was trying to draft Brandon as a fullback, Dennis as a right guard, and Akira2001s' brother as a tight end.
