haven't played uncharted 2, did play uncharted 1 and did play gaiden 1 & 2. IMHO I would say the production value of AC2 is better than those games. The storyline IMHO is much deeper than those games. AC2 also brings so many unique gameplay elements, that its hard to compare it in terms of gameplay to something like Gaiden. The whole concept of "assassination during commotion and crowds" causes you to play this game differently than other stealth games like Metal Gear Solid or Tenchu

This is one of the games that you choose the pacing. You determine how agressive the AI guards will be against you. You can select what to explore and for how long, or you can jump right into the action. And if you appreciate historical places,
and people ( e.g. leonardo Da Vinci) you will enjoy the historical and pseudo historical elements of this game. Planning the assassinations is kewl, there's no one right way to do em. Just like single player metal gear solid 4 this game
breaks some new ground and is somewhat unique.

While somepeople found the first one repetitive, I didn't. I used the similarity of each situation to get better and try different assassination schemes. Outside the pesky beggars in the first game, I really had no complaints about it. This renditions appears to be 3 or 4 times better than the first one.

me and my girl are playin it together, we're taking our time,
connected to our 50000:1 HD 1080p Sony, with full DTS and just enjoying the sights, sounds, plot, and gameplay of AC2. I personally feel it was worth my money... [IMG]
