Bad Games Thread

Some people can catch someone off guard and get a quick W, alot of times if you just got done playing someone at a good level and you forget to readjust down. No one is on point 24/7 anyway. It'll make you feel better if you just don't care if that player thinks that you're not as good/bad as people may say you are, or that you suck cause they beat you.

If I told you I had pictures and a recording, you'd believe me, but unfortunately I don't. You're obviously having a bad day or week and get bent out of shape creating made up negative scenarios.

For future reference if anyone wants to play a certain set of matches with me please pm while were in session (I will wait and not quit.) Otherwise, I will usually play to 3/5/10 based on how much energy I have at that time or lack of sleep. I'm always up for invites and talking/debating/learning. Only thing I have a pet peeve for is someone listening and then chiming in when your getting the best of him/her or they just are waiting for you to tear, so they can comment out of thin air. Other than that let's play our hearts out until R hits.

If people stop taking you seriously, I doubt they'd even bother hitting rematch. I fuck about a lot when i'm playing but it's nothing to do with my opponents skill... or lack of.

Also I don't see the harm in doing moves after your opponent is KO'd. A lot of people do it to practise moves or just to keep their hands busy. Only thing I don't get is stompin with light and heavy pounce, i'm guessing as that don't take any practise it's ok /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

I always think they do it because they like celebrating and inside they're shouting "HA HA HA! I WON THE ROUND! YOU SUCK! I AM AWESOME! TAKE THESE REPEATED KICKS TO THE HEAD! I'M THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER!" or something.

 

if i get stomped after rounds do it back the next one i win (thats if i win), until it stops altogether.

but generally i practice moves that i whiffed in the round, trying to get the inputs right etc.

weak pull. I could understand if i joined your room and you were like, damn mismatch he's named rank and i'm 5th dan, but you joined my match and then pulled right as u lost.


note: i will stomp after a round if my opponent does (or if its the continuation of a wall combo/throw combo) or if you jump back and forth over my lifeless body. then i'm gonna stomp you.

 

Thank you for putting this sentiment into words.
There's a lot of players out there that think that all that matters is the win and not how you play. Regardless of the outcome, win or loss, that "style" is waaaay too annoying to play and that annoyance is X100 online.
I know a lot of people that play fighting games only care about the "W", just don't get an "L" and everything will be fine.
But while that may be true for most other fighting games, like Super Turbo where it doesn't matter what the fuck you do to win as long as you win, I don't get this vibe from most "good" VF players.
The vibe I get from good VF players is that they love skill as much as I do. I mean, you don't always have to look pretty winning but if you're doing things that are making me think "damn, that was really smart" as opposed to "what? is he fucking serious?!"

I stomp for my own enjoyment every now and then.

BGs to some Japanese guy called Virtua5. He joined a game I hosted and we proceeded to play the laggiest match I've ever played.

Normally, I would exit the ring in this situation but it was on a high wall stage.

So the match comes to an end (he wins) and I return to the menu.

I send him a message saying:

'Sorry, far too laggy.'

To which he responds:

'GO TO HELL!FUCKBOY!'

Shortly followed by:

'GO AWAY FUCKBOY! ahahahahahaha'

His messages also contained stars and musical notes.

I would just like to note that this seems to annoy many people and would like to explain that AFAIC my pad is severely worn out on the left side and i can crouchdash only towards the right so from 1p side do the moral OS f+p > crouchdash but from the 2p side i do OS f+p > crouchbackdash cause that the only direction i know it will work /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif Same goes for throws, neutral throw from 2p side was probably a /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif that got input wrong but then again nobody gets annoyed being thrown with vane's canyon dive

 

This is Funny.True story I remember i played Slide once...against his Sarah IIRC he beat me then back turned then started backward crouch dashing on me as if he was rubbing his ass in my face being real disrespectful. I kinda took it personally and i never really like him ever since cause i considered him a real jack ass. I would notice he'd beef with me on this site and say lil inuendos here and there but i tried to keep it under raps.
A minute ago i seen a new member named Action Bastard and thought that it was him because Konjou made a alternate name to bother people in good fun.Action Bastard start fuckin with me so assuming it was him from that point on i said when NYG7 comes around i'm gon see slide on some real shit(Since he said he was going to be there.). DabadSeed told me to be easy maybe im taking it the wrong way cause you were cool in his book. Oddly enough i did'nt know who slide was until the second day when DabadSeed Tore his ass out the frame in the tournament i was like oh shit there he is.By that time the fire died out and i realized slappin the shit outta him would've cause a fight we would've spoil the moment for everybody.

Long story short it not cool to hold grudges against anybody in a Bullshit video game.



PS. Slide i know you did exactly what Air Jacky said. You's a cocky motherfucker and you never gave me that rematch either cause i would stomped your ass while you were down lol!

btw, ACTION BASTARD, is not me. I knew it would confuse somebody cause when I saw someone register that name, I was questioning it.

The ass back up thing, is no disrespect, it's just funny looking to me. Whenever I get the KO where they don't fall down.

I play Air Jacky and my Jacky does alot of stance switching and dancing around, we played 10 games. The last match, one of the rounds Air Jacky won, he heavy downed me, the following round I did 6P backdash 6P backdash 6P backdash 6P. And then he pulled the plug. My entire series with Air Jacky, he mostly stood around and didn't do much I thought that maybe he didnt even want to play me but he kept rematching so I would give him the respect.

If you don't want to believe me, that's cool. I can't even prove it. I can't prove the Action Bastard thing unless Myke does an IP check, and it's not possible for me to prove the Air Jacky thing because I didn't record or capture anything.

If you don't want to believe me, then that's that I totally agree with you that having beef over a game is stupid.

 

Action Bastard lives about 30 minutes from me out here in SoCal. He's been to my house.

Extremely disrespectful bad games to this racist garbage named Pl4yer 7. This whack brad player joins my room, gets beat a few times which is no big deal because EVERYONE loses. Shit, I mean I got whooped all day by KingofVF4 today, and loved it because I love trying to figure out how he's that damn good. Anywayz, he sends me a message that says "Get a life nigger" That threw me WAY off, cuz one I'm black and I hate that word. 2. He wasn't THAT bad of a brad player so I thought he'd take the loses, learn, come back and we have some games later on like everyone else in the world. Anywayz, I know I shouldn't entertained this dude by responding but I just replied something about getting a bible, getting saved and maybe he would suck less in life afterwards and he sends me this "ha ha NIGGER save your religious fucking voodoo 4 somebody who gives a fuck your black ass was destined 4 hell the moment your cunt mother birthed you. no amount of prayer to a false deity will change that." Anywayz, if you see this trash online, either mess him up real nice, or simply disconnect because you might see this crap in GOW or COD, but to see this mess in VF, is absolutely ridiculous.
