I'll give you some advice: You fight me in a Ranked match- stick with Lau since he's your best fighter against me (which ain't saying a whole lot) or better yet - just pull the plug before you fight me because that's the ONLY way you're gonna survive against me. My other suggestion: Go back to CVS2, Ultimate Mortal Kombat, or if you REALLY want to feel safe just play DOA4 (ya DMPK-ing muthu-fucka).

One more thing...let me add SingleFatalFlaw the jabroni list. I think he was the dude you were looking for, 'Carnage. The guy fights like he was trained by AdruptAddyPaddy.

 

BG's to VF Lion. This guy plays like absolute garbage with Lion (full back with almost only lows, 2kk abuse, stomp etc..), and I managed to lose several times against him... Lol.

 

The recovery on Lion's lows is weird, for example even if /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is supposed to be -30 i've never managed to understand when i can throw/low throw him after blocking it. Same goes for /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif & his unsafe sweeps; if done at max range they are somewhat hard to punish. With an elbow. The trick is that his unsafe lows are knee punishable. If you can't knee or yoho on demand without wasting frames, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif will connect too and against somebody who doesn't unstruggle fast (which i am guessing is VF Lion's case) you can proceed with the floater of your liking.

Overall youre right that from max range blocked attacks can be safer than normal. This is due to moves connecting on their latter active hitframes but causing same amount of blockstun. Its definitely difficult to react early enough with the counterattack or punish. You have to input earlier than you think.

this match annoyed me as i figured that right from the beginning he was trying to ring me out. also the amount of 2p he did in a certain round etc.

i also hope that this will ultimately reduce the amount of bad games to a degree. it does not apply to new players.

Several times he moved to the edge of the ring when you had more or equal the lifebar to him. So why did you go after him? If all he wants is to ring you out, just stay on your side of the ring to show him you're not going to play his game unless you have to (= when you're down in life).

 

That Kage was running like a bitch the ENTIRE match. I can't say much though - I saw my match against you. The loss was well-deserved, I played like a true jabroni. Good post though.

 

Seriously, why walk after him unless you're doing it to practice your 4-break, because it's pretty obvious what he wants to do lol.

 

That was just ugly! How is it fun for people to even play like that???!!!??? 2-3 moves, 2p and HEAVY use of DMP+K... That doesn't look entertaining in any way...
