Bad Games Thread

I think the only thing I'm gonna post in here ('sides the occasional clownin') is the Laggers. I've done fought so much of the "Run-away-ers," the 2p forevers," the DMPK-ers," the Keep-Swinging-No-Matter-WHAT-You-Hit-'Em-With," the Mic-On Whiners, and finally....the "I'm-gonna-keep-stomping-you-when-I-beat-you-even-though-I-hadn't-done-JACK-then-entire-match-when-I-get-my-one-little-round...ers," I may still post if someone pulls on me but that's what the shoutbox is gonna be for. For those on my list online I'll just do you the courtesy of letting you know who to look out for (I probably should've just done that from the get-go -_-

 

Yeah I remember that shackal who spam moves/shun broken strings and spam evade/DM P+K as major defense. But except for defense, he is not bad, but I have to admit I hated playing him, it's like he can win some rounds because of that stupid character called shun lol. But recently, he comes with new flow charts, it's good for training against some shun bullshit moves.

 

I must say, virtua5 is kind of a dick. We play 20+ games(of which I lost pretty much all of them). I send him a good games thank you message and I get back:

Ahh I see, yea Shun is a hard dude to hit, especially when someone knows what they're doing and is very very offensive minded. Playing someone like that in a bad mood I can see why you were a lil upset atm.

The last time I played him I lost a whole bunch of times, but like kingofvf4 says it helps me learn how to fight him (Shun). It's just the fact that Shun has so many wierd properties to his moves, he's spinning every where, has mad range, wild strings, and so much more. I think Shun is the cheapest dude in the game lol. But knowing his strings and what not would make it much easier and I know that's a major thing I lack against Shun. I never know where x move is going to hit, what the next move in the string is, or where Shun can go from whatever stance he is in.

I personally like playing him cause like I said earlier, even though he is very offensive minded, he does know what he's doing. Like after I block his string he'll bust out a quick jab or do one of those deflect everything (even a knee) move or dmpk, but it works, why block, attempt fuzzy, or evade when you can just hit em. I think it's your bro that has "Whats G do?" in his lil bio thing lol, and that's kinda true and one thing i've noticed lately, not a lot of people block, some do but more don't that i've seen/played against, lots of people spam quick moves or moves with evading properties cause most of the time it works better than blocking or doing anything defensive.

In the end, playing against Shun can piss anyone off lol.

 

Bad games to me again. I need to either get all in or all out on the vf5. Sometimes i am just a poor loser /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif It can be frustrating. I expect a lot from myself...i should probably redirect that /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I almost broke my controller by slamming it down on the table, and then the UP wouldn't work on the joystick for a minute and tell a slammed it around around the 4 gate for a minute.

This does not bode well for my vf future. I.e. i'm giving my last and biggest bg's to the price of joysticks on amazon. Holy shit, have u guys peeped these things. My Hori real arcade pro ex that i paid $139.00 for is now going for $218 used and $399 new. Are u fucking kidding me? $399. That is insane. The crap stick hori ex 2 is going for a $100. I can't imagine anyone whose not rich buying these things now days. Insane.

 

SCHAKAL81 is a piece of shit, even if I lost to him several times (means I'm worst olol). Zero defense, and semi-intelligent spam (he knows the moves). Man I hated playing him. Got him numerous times with a lot of 66P+k,p in a row with Akira. Called me cheap. Lol.

 

Funny, I got the guy on my FL. Not because he can beat me (I usually pummel the crap outta him after a while), I think he enjoys fighting me. Having said that I think the big thing about fighting him is patience, eventually he'll slip up and give you a opportunity for punishing (Smashing). Losing your cool fighting ANY Shun player is a bad thing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif Still, I find a semi-decent-spamming Shun calling you cheap (Akira) just damn funny. BTW he has SOME defense - after smacking him around quite a bit he magically found the defense button. It all depends on what you do.

A few things:

1. EVERY character he uses is suspect.
2. Expect to be served quite a few Spamburgers, it's gonna happen.
3. Don't bother with morality, just beat his ass and move on.

i don't know man. well not too too many, but still alot...

and what I hated was he was doing same thing over and over! (DMP+K, stay away then 66P+K, 2p 2p 2p 2p throw...or few more things...)

 

BGs to Templario IV. He beat me while I was using El Blaze (a new character for me) a few times, then I started winning. He sends me a msg (in the middle of a match!?!) telling me that I'm "boring" and "low level".

So I called him out on it, and told him to face a character I'm good with. So he picks Lei and I pick Vane. 7-0 in my favor. Then he sends me a msg saying "fun but your technic is very simple, evade, low attack and all vanessa attacks are strong with little hability." Whatever the fuck that means.

What I don't get: If my "tactics" are so "simple", then why didn't he beat them? If you see me evading a lot, do a full-spinning attack. And Lei has plenty of those! The reason I did so many evades is because he uses a +on block Lei tactic, but their all linear. I know I don't have advantage, so I'm going to evade. And I'M the "low level" player?

 

Simple tactics aren't bad anyhow. If simple tactics didn't work then characters like Lau would never win. Probably a few more characters too, but I don't want to bring any up in fear of someone proving me wrong and making me looking like a jackass /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

Fuck Templario. If he wants to complain about something he needs to complain about his damn incompetence. Sorry bitch is too lazy to try something different if his shit ain't working. Matter o' fact WW, I fought that dude a little over a month ago. It was mostly a back and forth fight, meaning he was backing way up and trying to come at me feet first. I'll give him this: dude can rock the long distance and max-mid range stuff

Fuck AdruptAddyPaddy, SirAddyScrubby, or whatever he wants to call himself these days. Damn sorry 2p-ing bum. 10000+ fights under his/her belt and nothing to show for it. I haven't fought the guy in over 2 months but FUCK him anyway.
