I found out alot easier to defeat these new comers in past vF's... so yeah,, Though annoying,, i do think it is the beauty of the game because those of who've played for a while , NOW have to work at something new. sometimes i find it hard to fight people with strong scrub tactics, and i have a better chance to be a scrub and beat their own game. lol.

My bad game(s)? What is it about the infinite strings of Lei Fei that prevent me from even getting a P in edgewise once he gets started?! A guy can be 1W and 1000L, 200th Kyu, and give me a tough fight with Lei. He's like some kind of flailing octopus on RedBull.

My only wins against him, no matter who is playing him, come from sniping from outside. One day my Hori stick will be thrown through my projector screen because of that guy.

 

Seven I am with yoiu, I absolutely hate fighting Lei's above anyone else including Eileen. Lion is a clsoe second. Yeah it would seem that the higher ranked players have an easy answer for his strings with well timed evades, counters or even low punch but if I guess wrong once, there goes my entire round and I don't think it was too hard to execute for the Lei Fei player.

I was wondering what that was all about... I can see being frustrated by Lion. Keep at it. It doesn't take that long to figure out his techniques...

I'm getting a cheap bastard. My game is becaming very dirty. A lot of lower rank people complain. In the other hand I've gotten promoted to 7th dan fairly easy.

I don't think I'd call it disrespect, it just seems like too much showboating when someone keeps hitting me after a round. Seriously, I get it, you won. Move on.

I too have heard of it as a 'dis' when doing it... during live sessions i've only seen it with people who know eachother very well as a joke,, obviously i'm not talking about when you are already in motion to doing it since you cant helpthat.
I think its an etiquette thing from the japanese arcades though,, that is how it is followed

 

Just realize that pounces after the guy's dead can be taken as a sign of disrespect. Just the way it is. I remember the VF3 days when K-G cancel was a sign that you don't like the other player's style. Certain actions have implied meaning behind them. A post-death pounce is unnecessary, so unless you want to play mind games, it might be best to just not do it..

 

Why kicking you while you're down is disrespectful I have no idea.
I guess that's why Japs don't play much FPS games, tea bagging FTW. If you want disrespect I'll fart in your general direction after eating mexican.
