What I love is how when people call you out you find random quotes to mislead an audience. Its immature. Just like a previous page in this thread, you take a quote from a separate thread and completely take it out of context. Rather then doing that how about admitting to your own mistakes and lack of skill.

Oh and what a great change you made to the signature, rather then admit your misunderstanding of a quote you used, you simply remove it from the sig and pretend it never happened. Hmmm sounds familiar, oh wait, you did that last time someone called you out for quoting yourself in your own sig. I believe it had something to do with your a somebody where the other was not.


And don't come in the thread all of the sudden and act like you have no idea why people are flaming your ass. You have complained many times about Lei, not only here on this thread but others as well. Stop trying to dodge bullets and man up to what you say and do.

I posted that to show that you directly contradicted what you said about me not offering useful info when you agree with me the day before.

People's little "personalities" here change so wildly it's just funny. People on this site will be like, "Oh what's up? You're my boy..." but if you don't like the CHARACTER THEY USE IN VF5 they are ready to burn you at the stake. Auvii, you are perfect example. You're all nice until I disagree with you or one of your "friends" here and then you get so amazingly butt-hurt I can't even understand it.

I'm dropping the balance issue cause it's worthless and it's like beating a horse that's so dead it's just a pulverized skeleton at this point... Once again, to all the Lei users out there, you are not Lei, you use Lei in a video game so just relax. I'm not gonna bring it up again.

I was waiting for the obligatory "I'm better then you reply". I'm not here to argue who is better or who is not. Unlike you I don't come on here trying to prove that everyday. I also do not need your approval of my skill level. I have played many on these forums that can vouch for how good or not good I am.

I could careless if you like lei or if you don't. If you cant see what this is about then you need to go back a few days and read your reactions and replies to many.

My personality never changed. I was cool with you about a month ago before you started spam posting about broken characters because you have issues with them and offending others for using said character(s). I also had a change in opinion with your persona after watching you spaz like a child against several people and continue to do so on a regular basis.

Anyhow I think I made my point and its quite clear.

Lei is just a whiny jailhouse bitch compared to the likes of 3S Yun, Chun, Ken; Kof 98 Iori, ST Claw, O.Sagat, MVC2 Cable, Sent, Magneto etc, Tekken Gayshimas, DOA ryu, etc.

lei may be the best in vf, but he sure as hell looks like a little pussy compared to characters that are ACTUALLY OP in other games

Lei-Fei is quite a challenging opponent to face online, but (as Jacky) I've had a lot more trouble fighting Kage. His strings are quite unpredictable. But it seems to me that it's more because I lack actual experience fighting Kage. For some reason it's difficult for me to find online [player/unranked] matches with other Kage players. And most of the Kage players that I do find are in the Ranked areas. When you see their win records with over 7,000+++ games played...well, it's just a little bit intimidating /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif I did fight a few of those Kage players...hmm...let's just say I was destroyed in a matter of seconds....

I've noticed that, over time, if you keep on fighting characters that you once thought were more powerful than yours, you will find their patterns and eventually know what their weaknesses might be. In VF5 it just takes so much time before you actually find these out; I suppose that's just the depth of the game itself that you can't get good at it overnight. I've been playing this game since December last year (obviously much less time than most of the veterans here on the forum) and despite all that time investment it seems to me that I've barely scratched the surface of how to get better with my preferred character.

 

I hear you. I've been playing VF5 since its release on the Xbox and, 7000 fights later, I can't get past 8th dan. Right now I'm actually closer to get demoted to 5th dan for the nth time rather that getting to 9th dan instead.
I think it's in part because I'm too old to pick up new things as fast and efficiently as younger people do. I can extrapolate this to i.e. playing the guitar. I've been playing for more than 30 years and learning a new classical piece and playing it right takes me forever now, whereas 10 years ago I would do it in maybe half the time and double the speed and precision.

Be sure not to make the assumption that just because your online record of games played is less than your opponents (or those who outrank you) that they have played less than you. Personally I have around 1500 matches on my xbl record... but that doesn't tell you about the 200 ish in quest mode on xb360, the 500ish on ps3, the 1000ish on vf4evo ps2 quest mode, the 800ish vf4 kumite mode ps2, and more importantly the 2000 ish for vf4evo arcade, and 3000-4000ish vf4 arcade.

You're not stuck man, you're on the verge of breakthrough. Maybe 1000 more games or so and you'll be workin the 10th dan/master level for a while
