I honestly don't know... I really don't pay much attention. That might be hard to believe but it's true.

And I never thought about how that makes me a cable puller too, except matching up with him is the only time I do it. My favorite part was how I was killing this guy and he pulls, then sends me a "gg" message. XD

Is there such a thing as a 'classy cable puller'?

 

yea this guy is funny, cause when you see his win/lose ratio it is around 60%, so he does lose alot but he still pulls lol, at least with tempplario you know he is a cable puller with a 80% wins and only a 9th dan you can tell right there he is a puller.
I just find it funny that darthminion pulls not for a good win ratio but for some reason that I don’t know. But I like to play him for a good challenge as I have to let him win 2 rounds and have to kill him with a big combo in the 5th round. very satisfy to win against him.

I'd say pulling when you are about to be demoted or pulling when your opponent is about to be promoted is just as bad as pulling to improve your win/loss ratio.

There's a difference in pulling while you're in the lobby and pulling during the actual match me old.

I had played Darthminion a few times a few weeks ago, and he never pulled match.

 

I pull because I can't handle children.

I don't mind folks pulling because of lag. Alot of times people blame their loss to me on lag so I wonder if lag can be a one-sided experience.

I would've probably wondered that myself in the one demotion match (my demotion) with a Lei Fei. Beat his ass from end to end and he pulls on his last moments. Mind you the match was going smoothly now. 'Course I had matches where a single punch took days to execute. Your thoughts, gentlemen?

 

I have pulled once in my online career and to this day it still bothers me.

I pulled on Moldavier because I got tired of the fucker pulling on me like 6-7 times in ranking matches when I could steal some EXP from his bar. Normally pullers don't bother me as I get a good laugh out of the who deal. But this fucker is a prick because obviously sucks and HE WOULD JOIN THE GAME I AM HOSTING(key words folks)... I AM HOSTING and then drops before he can loose and then come right back and join again like it never happened. So after the prick stole like 1-2 wins on me this way because I didn't want to pull I just ate the loses like a man then I searched for the fucker and joined his game and fought to 4th or 5th round and right when he was about to combo me for the win I pulled. I sent the fucker a message which probably wasn't nice but I was pissed... The message was basically the lyrics to Eddie Guerrero WWE theme music " I lie, cheat and steal... I lie cheat and steal.. blah blah" you guys look up the lyrics. It's a perfect song for a cheating Mexican.

And with that said let me <span style='font-size: 20pt'>apologize </span>to any Spanish people who felt my last sentence was racist, becayse I am not racist.

Like I said, I only pulled once and I still kind of hate myself for it, but I felt it had to be done.

People if your going to pull, pull before the match starts and not after. If you pull before the match starts there is no harm done and you don't take the risk of losing your EXP bar. It's not affected if you get out before the match loads i.e. the character intro screens. If you wait till then and pull it's possible to have your EXP bar cut in half or worse.

 

Whoa, what the hell is going on with (edit) those specific Mexican guys that are pulling? What, they got like a lil cable-pulling clang going on or something?
Everybody knows that it's not just Mexicans that pull but if enough users from Mexico keep pulling then they're just going to keep feeding the stereotype.

I'm just saying that in this small community, if most users out of Mexico keep pulling, then people are just going to keep generalizing. I dont know if most users out of Mexico pull a lot when they're about to lose rank bar but if that ever becomes the case it would be pretty damn sad.

 

Yeah I know it's not all Mexicans, which is why I apologized. I was just saying that because at the time his profile said Mexico and Eddie Guerrero is Mexican. The whole theme song thing seemed perfect at the time. But like I said, I knew it was the wrong thing to do. I am not perfect and you know how it is when you are in a rage, you tend to do what ever it takes to make yourself feel better.

Also Darthminion. Jeez how many times is this guy gonna get mentioned in this thread. So after losing to him a few times I finally figure him out and beat him twice. Then he decides to talk shit afterwards.

Darthminion if you read this maybe you should actually get some skill before talking shit on people. Or better yet why dont you just quit VF entirely. Looking at your ranked record it seems you have been playing this game for a while yet you cant even pull off simple techniques like tech rolling and recovering.

I played you last week and because I heard of you here on VFDC I knew how to hussle you. I killed you one round then let you win the next. then when you think that you might win I'ld just kill you. Happen enough to turn your bar red. So I played you at least 4 more times to see if you would pull now that you were in demotion risk. And sure enough you did everytime without fail. Even when people send messages to you and call you on your bullshit you seem to not get it. Why don't you grow some BALLS and learn to play the game. there's a lot you could learn if you would just stay and fight. Here I'll start. G means block. P means punch, K means kick. If you press all of the buttons together before you land you can perform a "tech roll".

 

Don't confuse the guy. To do that means he'd have to have BOTH hands on the controller instead of one hand on the cable

Lets be real. I don't have too much of a prob with you, we've even had some nice back n forth on the pms, but you are a puller, plain and simple. more than most for sure. I'm not even sure at what discretion you disconnect, half the time you'll take the loss, half the time you'll pull. thus you'll stay on my avoid list. I have notice you've never pulled when you were winning.....oddly enough.

and for the record, its actually kind of exciting with a kick button that only works about 95% of the time. One in 20 its gonna fail, but *which* time will it be?
