Bad Games Thread

That shit's been tried before, had a thread and everything too. It was a good while back and it wasn't too long 'fore the mods wanted it locked and dropped like a bad habit -_- Might be time to bring it up for the new folks although lately fights in VF have been scarce.

...you know what? Contrary to her other lows (which leave her at -14 on block), vanessa's sweep leaves her at -18. Which means you can even punish me with beat knuckle, with 2 frames to spare for lag.

I apologize to you and everybody else who sparred against me this summer. On my defence i solely played player matches in order to avoid annoying everybody with my bad connection. I'm back to France now where the internet backbone is more decent and hopefully you'll have less lag when facing me /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif

 

I assume you're referring to AbruptAddyPaddy there. Even though we make fun of your /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif usage, that guy takes it to a new level. You're a joy to play compared to him, and you don't pull.

He's not hard to beat, it's just the fact that he lets the 20 second timer run down at the start which is irritating when you want to get into the fight, and the repeated jumping stomps at the end is somewhat pointless (but I'm not going to get into that "disrespectful" conversation here).

Note to Wolf players, don't Turbo Drop him a lot. It's far too much for him and he has to pull. I don't get why, though - after all, he only uses 3 or 4 moves, so why pull when I only use that amount?

I did that as well, but even though you want to beat him down every game he makes, you get the impression it's futile as he'll pull before you can get the win. My photos prove that.

Ask him if he's spoken to GokuRen recently. I hope Darth comes back for more forum hilarity.

 

It seems since my departure that a lot of subpar players are holding on to master ranks with their lives pulling left and right.
It's really odd that they even got there in the first place. So
anyway on to the bad games! (Since it's in vogue)

Bad games too the random person who sent me random messages about
how much I suck and should go back to playing SCIV after fisting
him for about 10 games straight. Who the fuck are you and why are you following my gaming history. I know being the benchmark that I am. <==================== I'm easily recognizable but come on. Even the worst can get lucky once in a while.

I thought for a sec it was a VFDC'r just BSING but it just didn't let up.

This happened last night It was 10 games, whoever it was even
through racial stuff at me. Not too cool, granted the pounding was
up to my elbow so it was very satisfying in the long run.

You played the first time I challenged you and it's like you just lost all motivation later on or something. I hope it doesn't have anything to do w/ losing to someone who is a lower rank than you? I mean that's the only thing I can think of b/c you play the first match but after you lost, you just stopped playing. I dunno...

Cozby for just crouching and then at the last moment, pulling. I don't even know what that was about.

I never said you acted like a douche when you "played" me. You acted like a douche after playing me...when you started complaining and putting down my playstyle. I didn't really care that you were spamming DM p+k at all. It's part of the game and if you wanted to spam that tactic over and over, I wouldn't argue w/ you...in the end, it's your rank and win/loss record so what do I care? There are quite a bit of moves that can be spammed over and over(Vanessa's elbow anyone) that have relatively low risk and high rewards in this game...now why is it that when DM p+k, a move that is considered very risky, gets spammed, everyone starts crying and bitching about it? I just don't get it.

If someone was spamming a move, oh let's say DM p+k, regardless of the situation or outcome, then they'd be doing DM p+k from the beginning of the round to the end wouldn't they? You didn't do that nor did I...no douche there. Like I said, I know I DM p+k too much as it's a bad habit but sometimes I do it intentionally and often enough to make the other person anticipate it and use that familiarity against them b/c then they think you're gonna do it and all you gotta do is switch it up...that's the beauty of it. I've seen some opponents keep spamming Wolf's low lariat sweep to get the opponent scared and start blocking low, only to switch it up and do a crouch grab or a damaging mid...does anyone complain about that? How's that any different from what I'm doing?

Well according to Gentlemanthief, stomping or punching a post KO opponent sometimes just means that you are just "simply messing around" so which is it?

 

Damn, I hate jumping in here but I gotta tell you, HotD... that abuse-DMP+K style (abuse any move really) is HotGarbage.
It has been stated, online DMP+K can be abused way too hard. It's douche-like to use it as much as you do. Honestly, I haven't said bad games to you bc you only spammed DMP+K on me once. It was during the last match we played, I was hosting rank and you joined. When I played you in player matches, you did not play like this. Btw, I din't host again for a few minutes hoping that you wouldn't join my session again. Sorry.

It isn't as simple as "it's in the game, so use it" bc the same could be said about a down-attack after a KO "it's in the game, so use it" yes you can DMP+K everytime you're at disadvantage and you can stomp somebody everytime after a KO but it doesn't mean that people are going to appreciate it and want to play you anymore.
Personally, I don't have a problem with down-attack after the round, it's whatever with that BUT
if you're going to put me in a situation where I have to block everytime after I have advantage, sorry but I don't have fun playing somebody that does that a lot.
Offline, you might be able to throw somebody out of DMP+K after you have advantage but it doesn't always work.
Online, it's even worst /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif I literally have to wait for you to do that stupid move after I take advantage... it's just lame, man. Real lame.
Most of us play each other and don't play like this. That's why we like playing each other but when you got somebody that does cheezy crap like this... win or lose... well, it's not very fun and that's what most people play the game for, to have fun.

I'm not attacking you, I have nothing against you, I'm just trying to explain why it might be that some people don't want to play you as much.
I don't care about losing or rank but I do care about having fun and that style is no fun /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbs_down.gif
