Anyway, the way I see it the BGs thread is made on purpose to moan about stuff I am not good at dealing with, and maybe get some feedback. It became a staple of the xbox live forum because before online, when you faced an opponent in real life you could not avoid rematching them or even talking to them; Like during a gathering or in the arcades.

It's just that some of the old school here have an issue with the whole NOOBS PLAYING VF and they need to feel important. Maybe lack of affection when they where little? Your mother didn't breastfeed you?

Warning.. do not join Robot J or AbstractMacs games. they are cord pulling morons. they will ALWAYS PULL without fail, when they are about to lose.

 

God Eater can play, there's no doubt about that... I believe he likes the Heavies/Big Throw characters, or at least those are two of the guys I lost to him against. He assault and battered me with his Wolf.

@Anyone that it concerns, if you can't take being thrown, don't admit it; HIDE IT dearly. It sounds sooooo fucking dumb to hear people complaining about being thrown on a VF site when it's basically half the game. A HUGE part of VF is setting them up to block when you want to land a throw... If you aren't throwing in VF5, after a year of play, give up before you waste any more time sucking. I'm not even good, but I at least know to throw when my opponent blocks (cause it's half the game!!!).

So you used a crystal ball to see into the future, watched the match we were GOING to play, then decided I used too many throws and DC'd? Really?

And I think you could ask any player on VFDC that knows something about VF5 and they'll tell you, "When your opponent uses the same dumb move over and over, and it happens to be a throw-punishable move on block, you should throw them after blocking."

Or perhaps you'd like me to low punch 6 times in a row after my move is blocked like you do.

Stop it with your excuses. You're full of bitch moves and you know it.

EDIT: BUT! I see now that you're asking for advice. That is great. You must understand that in order to get better, you must first lose to players who are better than you and learn from the experience. If the next time I see you online you're playing a totally different strat, I will fully retract everything I've just said here.

LOL he actually thinks I'm supposed to abide by the rules just b/c of my rank!!! HAH! If you pull on me, I'm gonna do the same shit back to you, regardless of your rank or mines. Meh, people who complain about DM P+K are just as bad as people who complain about throws.

LOL, I don't mean to do it on purpose. My XBOX and PC are different rooms, so I create a session, then leave the room, then somebody accepts and I have to run back in the room where the XBOX is, lol..I am trying to be less predictable, but at the same time its harder to come up with other combos especially since you know character inside and out, lol

 

Do you not care about taking the hit to your ranking bar? I know rank aint everything, but being above master, no way i'll pull, to hard to raise rank to sacrifice it for naught. hell, random disconnects during matches against opponents who couldn't affect me anyways is what has destroyed my bar down to a quarter, used to be a beautiful 3/4ths full.

 

Yeah, cuz DMP+K can be ducked under and punished, right?
I said it before and I'll say it again. DMP+K gets a boost online bc even if block it in medium to heavy lag the DMP+K spamming whore can just do it again to avoid a linear or half circular attack and make your throw clash. This b.s. does not happen offline bc the throw will not clash.
You spam DMP+K, I block it, you're getting thrown if you try to do yet another DMP+K. End of story.
You know it's a crutch and you know that without DMP+K combined with LAG you wouldn't even have half as many wins as you do so stop trying to talk tough like you really know offline VF cuz it's obvious that you don't.

True. My game is built around my desire to throw u. It just is. I know people don't like being thrown a bunch, but it doesn't change the fact, i like to throw u...a bunch.
