Dude I just play it literally for the jets.

A couple weeks ago I met a guy who was jet service star 50...and that was a couple of weeks ago!

Is the premium pack really worth it? I already have return to Kurkand

 

I think it's supposed to offer a saving on all the packs combined so if u already have a pack then....

But it also comes with other stuff. I can't seem to find out if it comes with any new guns anywhere. Does anyone know if it does or not?

 

It's a DLC "season pass" so you do get the weapon unlock assignments from those expansions with them.

 

The only reason i bought was for the the savings. Since i was going to buy all the future dlc eventually.

 

Is it still worth it even if you have return to karkand?

 

If we assume that each expansion will sell normally for $15 and that there are 4 expansions after Back to Karkand, then that is $60.

Premium is $50 and with additional perks.

So you save $10 and get bonuses even if you already have back to Karkand

 

What are the bonuses though?

 

new knife skin (seriously....thas a bonus lol)
priority on joining servers (what if everyone is premium?? you still wait in line lol)
cooler looking dogtags (big deal..)
Exclusive Online Double XP Events
Insider Tactics from DICE (which people already re-post on youtube..for free)
Early Access to DLC (hate this practice)

So its basically save $15 (£10) and get early access (lame). I don't care enough about either of those to invest and I don't know if I'll be getting all the DLC anyway.

I'm waiting for the DLC to actually come out to figure out if I want it. It sucks to be treated like a second class customer because I want to actually know what's in the packs after CQ to decide whether it's worth the money or not. :\

I love Battlefield 3. 'Tis awesome. I killed a door-gunner as a helicopter flew by me. It was gaming nirvanna. Once tried to kill a helicopter pilot with a sniper rifle. I used the scenery to make him have to face me head on. Tense moments, man I at least wounded him because he peeled. Great, great game. i both the two previous DLCs and I will get this one.

 

They added player-controlled artillery! I ...am excited about this game again!

 

I gotta be honest. I wish I had bought the premium now. Close Quarters was fun and I wouldn't mind being able to play the next ones 2 weeks before they come out. The thing that put me off the most was my scepticism because it reminded me of COD Elite or whatever it's called. But Dice aren't Infinity Ward. But ahhh hindsight, what can ya do.

 

I have to say, squad deathmatch is awesome!
