Downloaded the demo. Played it. I won't change what I said above.

I for one would put things like the new Ninja Gaiden games, the DMC series, the God of War series, God Hand, Chilli Con carnage, Onimusha and such in the same genre.

Onimusha is less "FIGHTAN!" than the others though.

I'm going to wait and see what people tend to think of it in general. Personally, I believe that it will end up no more than a side note in the future.

People get hyped up for new titles very easily nowadays and from what I played this game is going to run on nothing else but hype and graphical presentation.

This logic makes a forum about VF pointless as well [IMG].

Only if we discuss something other than strategies, tactics, move properties, match video links, or matchmaking.

If those are the only games in it, then yes, I dont like that genre.

Out of curiosity, just how much I'm required to play the game until I am allowed to say that I don't like it? This bothers me, because during the last few years the fact that I don't like something that other people like has caused great distress to those people.

ps. soulkatana, wtf is that shit

Manji, at least you checked the demo. I say that's enough to say that you dont like the game.

I personally know if I like a game or not after about 5 minutes. Sometimes I am put off by the look of a game and maybe change my mind after trying it. More often I dont. Sometimes I get in my head that I need to play a game and then after so much trouble I find out its crap. I was so tempted to get Golden Axe beast rider, still looking for it cheap lol.

Regarding Bayonetta, I want to get it but I am afraid of two things: 1)I might like it too much and fuck up my exam next week, 2)I might not like it so much and play a few afternoons before forgetting I have it

Manji, the original copy is much much better than demo!!

Well, if you don't like the performance such as DMC, and you probably won't like Bayonetta.

Well you had obviously made up your mind about ten posts before you played the demo, no offense at all but nothing's going to get through that kind of stubbornness [IMG]

Also, demo's are meant to just give you an impression. It's fair to dislike what you've seen of the game but I don't think you can judge the whole game based on the fact you don't like the visuals or a five minute demo.

The last few posts in this thread are an excellent example of this.

    Seriously.

Why is Manjimaru's opinion about Bayonetta being given such overwhelming power?

I'm having a BLAST with this game, chapter 3 was intense! I like the arcade scoring element, makes you want to get a platinum in every stage. One thing I'm not liking is the XBOX 360 controller for this game, I need to adapt FAST. everytime I went to press X I ended up pressing start as well. Other than that minor nip pick, I'm digging the game as a whole. Great dubbing("I'm going to bust a cap in Yo ass!" lol)music and action. So far I finished Chapter IV(Boss fight)I know I could get a platinum in that stage.

Just got this game and man is it fun. Chapter 4 was no joke, this is hands down right on par wit DMC3 lets see how the rest of the game turns out.

On a side not i think it would be cool if for the console release of VF5FS Bayonetta would be a unlockable charc......
